Daphne's plan #3

Chapter #3: Improvising.

Another morning and the sun rises once again in Hogwarts, as usual, this is the time of the day in which students are reunited to talk about their dreams and what class they’re going after eating, they’re discussing the homework that they were assigned yesterday, school projects, quidditch, and other stuff that usually catches the attention of students, two weeks had passed since the start of the classes and the usual friends were happy to see each other after such darkest times and the first graders were already used to each other.

But there’s a pair of sisters that are focused on other stuff, they’re filling their bellies with bacon and some pancakes as they study another subject unrelated to their education, they’re studying the behavior of a certain wizard: Harry Potter, these two sisters are Daphne and Astoria Greengrass.

- H-Hey girls… We were wondering if you’d like to come with us to the lake after our classes finish of course – The girls’ concentration was interrupted.

Daphne and Astoria were suddenly approached by a pair of Slytherin guys, a blonde one who couldn’t keep his eyes off Astoria and a dark-skinned serious boy who didn’t look interested, he looked as if he was there just to help his friend to take the unwanted sister with him.

The sisters sighed, it was Draco Malfoy, the son of their rival and he beside him was standing Blaise Zabini a usually calm and uninterested guy.

- We can’t… We have to study – Daphne answered before she turned her attention back to Harry Potter.

- That’s okay if you don’t want to go… What about you Astoria? – Asked the blonde before he looked at the brown-haired girl.

Daphne was angry, Harry was gone, they didn’t know at which time he moved, those two guys interrupted their field study.

- She can’t… She has to study too – Daphne stopped Malfoy who was starting to get annoyed with Daphne’s attitude.

- I thought that you both were independent not some kind of—Draco started in a threatening tone before Daphne quickly waved her hand to cut him off.

Things were about to get ugly and Draco was about to complain more, he raised his finger ready to point it at Daphne, but he looked as if he was about to punch her.

- Stop it Malfoy – A voice that they weren’t expecting said, a green-eyed, serious man with a threatening tone that frankly made Astoria and Daphne feel chills run down their spines.

- Harr—I mean, Potter! – Draco was startled by the presence of the savior of the wizarding world – This doesn’t concern you… Get out of here! – Malfoy was a little nervous about Harry’s presence.

- Maybe it does not concern me… But there’s someone behind you right now that is concerned about this – Harry said with a slight smirk as he looked at a blonde professor that was behind Malfoy

- M-Mom!? – Malfoy was startled by the presence of the blonde woman.

Narcissa Black didn’t look amused, she was crossing her arms as she was staring at her son.

- It’s professor Black for you young man, seriously, already fighting in the morning! – Narcissa grabbed Draco by his ear and dragged him out of the dining hall.

- No, please mom, I promise you that I won't ever do it again! - Complained Malfoy as he was being moved out of the dining hall.

Blaise sighed at his friend’s behavior while the rest of the students laughed out loud at him, Harry laughed too, it seems like he was having the time of his life, Daphne was too focused on his face, it looked so perfect for her, and those eyes, as a Slytherin the green color is a very attractive trait, Astoria was stunned by the presence of Harry but she was more worried about their plan, they hadn’t progressed on these past two weeks, Astoria kicked softly her sister’s leg to catch her attention.

- Daph… He’s here, let’s do something – Astoria said in a low tone and Daphne quickly shook her head.

Her younger sister was right, their prey was right in front of them, she had to do something, she was the smartest of the two, but how can she tell something to someone she isn’t used to talking to?

- Are you girls okay? – And then, he surprised them, he spoke first, he had a soft smile as he looked at the two girls.

Neither Daphne nor Astoria knew what to say, they had him so close, not even in their wildest dreams they expected to have him so close to them.

- Oh… Yes, thank you so much, Harry, that was great – Daphne managed to say without stuttering, she was proud that she managed to do that.

- I’m glad… Well, girls, I’m heading out, I need to get to class I have potions with Mrs. Black and after what Draco said I don’t think she will go easy on us – Harry said a little embarrassed ready to go.

Both girls panicked, he was leaving and they didn’t know if they would have another chance to talk to him without anyone else by his side, they looked at his friends who were ready to join him.

- Harry, wait! – Astoria said surprising the green-eyed man.

- Yes… Astoria, right? – Asked Harry with a soft smile.

- Yes, That’s my name – Said proudly and the younger woman, she felt happy that he recognized her name.

- What can I do for you? – Harry said with a calm expression.

- Uh… Well, what you have done was pretty impressive for us and I was… Well, we were wondering, uh… - Astoria tried to send a message to Harry but she was having some difficulties, she looked at her older sister trying to find some help and Daphne nodded.

- Oh… Yes, Harry, I’m glad you stopped that git, so we were wondering if you’d like to come with us after classes… As we’re adults now, we can go outside the school during our free time – Daphne started as Harry arched a brown, he was having a hard time not running towards his class, the older sister tried to calm herself – What I mean is that… We’d like you to come with us to the three broomsticks for a butterbeer, as a way to thank you for helping us earlier, what do you say? – Daphne managed to say, she was dying due to the embarrassment, but she didn’t care, she felt brave right now – Could this be what muggles call adrenaline? – The older sister thought.

As for Harry, he was having a hard time deciding, but once he saw his friends moving in the direction of their class, he nodded.

- Yes, see you two in this spot at five o'clock? – Asked Harry and both sisters nodded – Great, see you later then, I wish we could talk more girls, but I really need to get going – Harry said and both sisters nodded.

The green-eyed man moved as fast as he could to join his friends Luna, Hermione and Ron who saw both sisters before smiling at Harry, Astoria and Daphne were astonished about what happened, but the younger sister suddenly realized that they were late for their classes, she was about to tell her older sister about that, but Daphne looked lost as if she didn’t care about anything else right now.

- Date – Mumbled Daphne with a neutral expression.

- What!? – Astoria didn’t understand what her sister meant.

- A date… We have a date with Harry! – Daphne quickly grabbed her younger sister’s hands.

Astoria’s eyes widened after she heard those words and realized that her older sister was right, they had a date with the boy they liked, they jumped in ecstasy after realizing that, and it seems that they didn’t even care that they were about to get late to class, they were more focused on the happiness that they were experiencing right now.

As expected, both girls ended up getting late to their respective classes, but they didn’t care that their respective teachers scolded them, they didn’t want to answer back and get detention, they were too eager to finish their classes and it seems like time was against them as the felt that the classes took them more time than they had expected, but thankfully, in the end, they managed to survive the whole day and finally at three o’clock they managed to finish the schedule of the day.

Once they finished with their classes they went straight to the dining hall to eat something quick, they finished as fast as they could that they surprised the rest of the students that were eating by their side, the sisters didn’t have too much time to waste it eating, they headed straight towards the girl’s bathroom and took a bath, they did their best to wash every part of their bodies, they’d hate if for some reason they ended up smelling bad.

Five o’clock finally came and Harry was already in the dining hall, in the same spot where he helped the girls in the morning, at this time many people were eating, Harry was using black boots and blue jeans, a white shirt under a black jacket, he was immersed on his thoughts before he heard some footsteps getting close to him.

Harry was ready to see once again the sisters, and once he did he couldn’t help but get surprised by the way they looked now, Astoria was using a tight black skirt with a tight white blouse that hugged her amazing bosom, also black shoes.

Daphne on her part was wearing tight white jeans and a tight green blouse that accented her slim figure and white shoes, the green-eyed man gulped at the sight, they both looked amazing.

- Hello Harry… I hope we didn’t make you wait too much – Daphne said with a calm expression but blushing at the same time, she was having a hard time trying to keep a stoic expression.

- N-No, not at all, girls… I just got here – Harry managed to say and both sisters smiled at him.

- Let’s get going then! – Astoria said cheerfully before taking Harry’s arm to start moving from here.

Harry was taken by surprise by the younger sister’s movements, but still, he wasn’t complaining, he felt a little embarrassed but thankfully or sadly (Depends on which point of view you ask) Astoria let go of his arm, but still, he focused to move to the door that connected Hogwarts with the town nearby.

But they didn’t plan to visit the whole town, they headed straight towards the three broomsticks, it was Wednesday and still, the place seemed to have a good activity, as Harry entered, many people greeted him and he did the same, Rosmerta did the same.

- Well well, what do we have here… My favorite man in the world, come on Harry, let me take you to the best table of the place that’s usually reserved for the minister but I don’t think that Kingsley will get angry if I lend it to you for a few moments! – The older woman said with a smile – Come on, let me take you there Harry, and you… girls... Harry, why am I not surprised to see you with these two beauties? – Rosmerta smiled at him and the three of them blushed – Wait, I’ll take something before I take you to the table – Rosmerta winked at them and they nodded.

Rosmerta took three butterbeers before she took them to their table that it was on a balcony and where you can see the castle and the people that walk through the town, once they sat, Rosmerta placed the three butterbeers.

- Enjoy them, this round is on the house, for everything you've done! – Rosmerta winked at him before she left the place before Harry could insist on paying her.

The younger man sighed and accepted the beers, he took one and the sisters did the same.

- Cheers! – He said and the girls did the same, it didn’t take too much for them to start drinking their butterbeers.

But besides drinking, Harry didn’t know what to do or say, this was the first time he was with these two girls at the same time and he didn’t know what to say, still he couldn’t stop thinking about the way they looked, those clothes really suited them.

- You were brave earlier Harry – Astoria was the one who broke the tension.

Harry’s thoughts were interrupted, suddenly, he shook his head and looked at the sisters before smiling softly at them.

- The whole thing with Draco? Come on girls, you’re giving me too much credit – Harry said with his classical humbleness, both girls smiled at him.

- But still, you were the only one who intervened on that whole mess, If it wasn’t for you maybe my parents would be already requesting Malfoy's head! – Daphne said with a small smile on her face.

- Well… Don’t tell this to anyone, girls, but Malfoy seems to think that he has some kind of life debt with me after I helped him and his mother to avoid their trial – Harry whispered at them – I just wanted to take a little advantage of that little power I have on him – He laughed and the girls did the same.

- You seem to get along with them Harry, with Malfoy and his mother I mean – Daphne said innocently.

But Daphne’s words had another meaning, she wanted to find out what kind of relationship Harry and Narcissa had, she didn’t care about Malfoy right now.

- You could say that… I get along with his mother and well, she’s the only person he fears so… Let’s say that if he tries something against me or any of my friends, his mother will be the first one to be informed about that – Harry said with a slight smirk and the girls nodded – I know what the papers say but… I’m not dating her, I promise you – Harry confessed – We just became friends because we spent too much time after the war, during the trials – The sisters nodded calmly and the three of them drank once again.

But inside the sisters' heads, they were celebrating those words, they were happy to hear that.

- Oh, look, we already finished our drinks, I’ll get us another round I want something else to eat, do you girls want anything from the bar? – Asked the green-eyed man and the sisters shook their heads negatively – See you in a while then – Harry got on his feet leaving the sisters with their thoughts.

Astoria and Daphne were happily smiling at each other, those were amazing news from Harry and that made them have some hope, but still, he was the most desired bachelor in the wizarding world, they didn’t want to have too much confidence, they decided to continue with their plan as they were doing right now, being cautious of other women as they try to seduce him.

Harry was walking downstairs from the balcony to get to the bar and he looked happy, he was having a great evening with the Greengrass sisters, he hadn’t been this happy for a long time, he traveled around the whole world the last year and he was too anxious and stressed about finding the Horcruxes to have a moment like this, he needed it, it was finally time for him to enjoy the peace he wanted to achieve for a long time.

Harry continued walking downstairs and he was about to reach the bar, he was grinning, he was about to order something else from the bar until he heard a known voice getting clarified.

- So, this is where you were going, uh? – Asked said the voice with a hint of smugness.

He looked back to see the source of the voice and he was surprised to see Hermione, with her arms crossed and a smirk on her face as she stared at him, she had that smile, the one full of curiosity that she always had every time she opens her books, Harry knew that a long conversation awaited him.
