Chapter 36: It's time

Andy was still angry she didn’t know why, she enjoyed her time with Harry but still, she couldn’t get the embarrassment out of her mind, she tried to not blame Harry as it was as much as her fault that the situation turned out like this.

- Get ahold of yourself Andromeda – She said to herself – Let’s not think about what happened and let’s focus on the diary… It’s time to figure out where’s the place on which we can find that man – She added before she sat on her desk and opened the diary.

She was about to open the diary when someone entered inside her room, it was Narcissa and she had brought a plate with a croissant and a cup of coffee, Cissa walked around the room until she finally reached her older sister who was focused on the diary until Narcissa tapped her shoulder.

Andromeda flinched and looked at her younger sister not so happy after she had been scared.

- For fuck’s sake Cissy… You scared the shit out of me! – Complained Andromeda and Narcissa just laughed.

The blonde woman stood there in silence for a while before she offered her sister the food that she brought, the curly-haired woman accepted it and started to eat.

- You look angry, did something happened? – Asked Narcissa looking with worry at Andy.

Andromeda didn’t want to answer her, so she stood there just in silence until she felt the penetrating glare that her younger sister was giving her.

- I guess Harry told you everything, right? – She was annoyed as she said that.

- Tell me what? Did you do something to him? – Narcissa faked ignorance.

- There’s no point in denying it… We had sex – She confessed and Narcissa again faked her reaction, the blonde woman gasped.

- That’s good, right? – Narcissa was a little surprised by her sister’s attitude.

- Well… I have to admit that it felt good – Andy confessed and Cissy looked at her not completely believing her – Okay… It felt amazing! That’s what you wanted to hear? – Cissy smiled after her sister admitted that she liked what she shared with Harry.

- Yes… That’s what I wanted to hear… After all, Harry practiced with me so, if he didn’t satisfy you then I guess I had to make him work harder – Cissy smirked at her.

Andromeda looked at her younger sister for some seconds before she sighed.

- What’s the problem then? You told me that you enjoyed it, why are you so angry then? – Cissy really couldn’t believe why her sister reacted like that.

- Yes… That night, the sex… Everything was amazing, I have been dreaming about doing it before for a long time and that’s how I imagined it would happen, but… I thought that I was sleeping – She confessed – This will sound stupid for you but now that Harry and I finally did it then… The fantasy is over – Cissy’ nodded at her older sister’s words – What else you want me to say, Cissy? I know it’s stupid, but that fantasy fueled so many creative works that I have done, and now that I already fulfilled that wish… I fear that my creativity will decrease – She confessed.

Cissy tried to understand Andy, but she wasn’t an artist so she didn’t understand that well the way she felt, the only thing she could do was hug her sister, she embraced her and the older woman sighed and smiled.

- You need to talk to him… He’s hurt – The blonde told her.

- So you knew… - Andy looked at her strangely.

- No, but I had sex with him last night and he didn’t look so eager to do it, and trust me when Harry’s not in the mood then I know that something wrong happened – Andromeda nodded – He loves sex that much that when we lived together for a week I had to stay naked the whole time as it was practically a waste of time getting dressed – Narcissa sighed and Andy smirked at her.

Both sisters looked at each other before they laughed and smiled, when they calmed, there was a comfortable silence.

- You’re right… I need to talk to him but… I’m not ready yet – Cissy nodded at her older sister’s words.

Cissy got on her feet and was ready to get out.

- Take your time… But don’t take too long, that sweet man is waiting for you to love him and him to love you back – Andy blushed and smiled – But… Bella and I are waiting for you to join us too – Narcissa told her with a smile before she surprised her older sister.

Suddenly, the blonde was kissing the brown-haired woman on her lips, it was a sweet soft kiss and short, it was just the temptation for her older sister to finally join them, after they separated, Andy touched her lips as she watched the blonde getting out of the room before she showed her a smile.

Andy knew what she was missing, she was missing the opportunity to share those moments with her loved ones, she sighed after she realized that.

- Sometimes I can be a jerk… Now I know where Nymphadora got that attitude – Andy sighed – Well, let’s get back to work.

Andy focused on the diary again, and looked through the pages, she knew that she had to prioritize the contents but she couldn’t stop herself from reading more than she was looking for.

“It happened again, it’s the tenth time the mediwitch had told me that I am with no child yet… It’s discouraging and it makes me feel awful and useless, I know that Cygnus will support me, no matter if I give him a child or not but, I start to see that he’s losing the hope of becoming a father, he doesn’t show it often, but I know that he feels down.

It breaks my heart seeing him like that, he works so hard to make me happy and he has been saving since we got married so we could raise our kids properly, we’re both eager to have children and I still hadn’t given him the chance to do it.

I feel awful, not just because Cygnus feels bad, but also because I want to have children too, I’m eager to become a mother since I was a child I had imagined that there was nothing I couldn’t do thanks to magic, I have been told that muggles are inferior to us, but right now I don’t feel so sure about it, I don’t know too much about them, but there is something I’m quite aware, there are millions of them in the world compared to the less than a million wizards that the world has.

Becoming a father or a mother isn’t a problem to them, contrary to what’s happening to us, are we doing something wrong?”

Andy gulped after she read that, this writing was before they did the ritual and it was close to the moment that she was looking for but still, she couldn’t help but feel a little bad about her mother, she didn’t sound so bad during that time, she had normal dreams like any other housewife during that time would have.

Andy sighed before she moved again the pages and there was something that surprised her, there was a page written completely in red, that caught her attention.

“Something interesting happened, I was on the leaky cauldron drinking some ale after the mediwitch told me again that I was not pregnant, I was down and fought hard to not let out my tears fell off my eyes.

And then something happened, a man approached me, he was so mysterious, he was dressed in a dark cloak, I was a little scared I must admit, but he smiled warmly at me.

He saw the sadness through my eyes and asked me what was wrong, I don’t know why, but I told him everything that has been happening lately in my life, I thought that he was going to tell me that my problems were stupid compared to the lower classes' ones (He looked poor), instead, he told me that I shouldn’t lose faith.

I told him that we have tried everything and still, I couldn’t manage to conceive, he looked at me with pity, I know it, still, he didn’t mock me or something like that, he just drank his beer and told me that there was a way on which some persons had conceived.

It was time to get help from the ancient gods, he told me that there were many gods on which one person could pray and get their wish granted, I was a little skeptical about it, so, after he told me that I swore to myself that I wasn’t going to come back to the leaky cauldron”

Andy started to get interested in the story, right now her mother’s diary seemed more interesting than many books that were trending right now, she moved the pages and read another page.

“Okay I know that I’ve said that I would never come back to the leaky cauldron as that man creeped me out, but… I’m desperate I have read about it and there's some history on what that man had just said, there's a book that talks about it more deeply, it's called “Magical contracts and its consequences”.

I read that book and it talked about contracts with strange entities with powerful magic beyond muggle and wizard comprehension, the basic example of this happened in the story of the deathly hallows, the three brothers who tricked the death into giving them some useful objects but, the death never told them the price for getting those items… The price was their lives.

There were many examples, contracts with demons that ended up in hilarious consequences, with ironic punishment, like a guy that made a deal just to taste the best fish and chips in the world, and when he finished it his head ended up getting the form of a fish.

I told that man everything that I have discovered and then he told me that he had traveled around the world, seeing that I was convinced to try what he had suggested he told me that during his journeys in the search for the origins of magic, he found a little temple in the middle of the jungle in Yucatan, Mexico.

It seems like in that temple, the ancient Mayans used to worship a god that brought fertility but not just regarding children also, it was made with the purpose to be granted a great harvest season, he explained to me all the procedure now as I’m writing this I’m waiting for Cygnus to come back and tell him everything, I have planned everything, that mysterious man not just helped me, he also drew a map”

Andy flipped the pages and then she found it, she found the map of the place, Andy was getting so obsessed with getting the answers that when she finished reading all that, she got dressed and apparated away, her sisters looked at her strangely.

Andy was out all day, she was in the ministry trying to get an international portkey, international portkeys needed to be approved by the country’s embassy, so, the time on which the portkey could be approved will depend on which country you wish to visit.

Countries like the USA, Canada, Japan, China, and most of Europe had to review tons of requests per day, but in the case of Mexico and the rest of Latin American countries, there wasn’t a large queue, so, Andy spoke with the Mexican embassy and in less than an hour, they approved her request after a short interview.

After her portkey was approved she finally had a date set, the next week, Andy was delighted as they were finally about to end the curse when she got back home, she explained everything to the occupants of the house and she even forgot that she wasn’t talking to Harry.

One week later.

Four people were flying over a jungle, Andromeda, Narcissa, Bellatrix, and Harry were on their owns brooms and the older sister was the one that was leading the rest of the team, they finally landed outside of a little archeological site, they all looked amazed at the temple in front of them.

All of them were dressed in blue pants as they tried to protect themselves from the mosquitoes, they used long-sleeved shirts, Andy’s one was brown, Bellatrix’s one black, Narcissa’s one yellow, and Harry’s one green.

- Shall we get inside then? – Asked Harry and the rest nodded.

Harry let them walk in front of him while he watched their backs, the construction was lighted by Andromeda who conjured a lumus spell.

- This is… Eerie – Said Bellatrix as they felt the silence on the temple, the four of them nodded, and little by little they walked downstairs.

It seemed like the temple was safe, but still, they didn’t let their guard down, there were some bats but they didn’t bother them, but suddenly they meet with a dead-end, everything was blocked, there were only four torches on the ground that formed a perfect square.

The Black sisters tried to think about a way to continue or if they had to get back, Harry to pass the time, decided to light each one of the torches on the ground to light the room, and after he did that, the whole room was lighted and something happened, they realized that there was a small square on the center of the torches, the little square had the figure of a fireball, or at least that the form they thought It was.

Seconds later, the little square was lighted before it disappeared, another set of stairs appeared and they didn’t wait, they walked straight to it and walked down the temple.

- Let’s continue – Said Narcissa as they finally reached the underground, but something unexpected happened.

Some kind of giant pike appeared behind them and started to chase them and cover the whole room, they ran as fast as they could, but the thing was starting to get close to them, they tried to destroy it with their spells, but nothing worked, when they reached the next door, the pike stopped.

The four of them looked at each other, their hearts were racing crazily, but they were glad that they were about to reach the end as they finally saw a brighter light at the end of the road, they just hoped that there wasn’t any obstacle again.

They were about to reach the light when they heard something behind them.

- Oh… Fuck – Mumbled Harry before he saw a giant scorpion.

More and more started to appear and they stopped them from walking further, Harry and the sisters attacked the creatures, they managed them well, the fire was a great ally, but some of them weren’t scared, some of them neutralized the fire with their venom, one was about to attack Andy, but Harry quickly sent a powerful spell against the thing, surprising Andy.

- Are you okay Andy? – Asked the younger man and she nodded – Come on, let’s go – Harry offered his hand and she watched him for a while before she accepted it.

The battle had already ended once their leader was defeated, they walked straight to the light and in the middle, there it was the mysterious man, looking at them before he got on his feet, it seems like he was taking care of three flowers of three different colors: brown, black and yellow.

- Harry… Once this is over… I’d like to speak with you – Andy said with a smile on her face.

Harry was surprised to hear that but smiled anyway, they were about to approach the mysterious man when suddenly, he did something unexpected, he attacked Harry with a spell that he didn’t even say out loud, the younger man fell unconscious on the floor and the women watched horrified what the man had just done.
