2023-09-20 04:20:08 +0000 UTCThey still haven't fixed this particular bug, a workaround is to "unlock" an older episode and then come back. Just remember to do this each time, hope they fix it soon. That's assuming you're stuck in a patreon payment loop? You won't get charged or anything, it just doesn't work with the super fresh content. Not the first time we had these sort of problems, back then there was a bug for proxy accounts on their website being stuck in a similar hell, what fixed it was changing the currency from/to USD instead of โฌ. And don't even get me started on trying to do this with an adblocker or usual tracking options disabled in your chromium browser of choice, the site broke A LOT for me. Video player was super needy too, even on low quality, started stuttering the minute I tried downloading something else from a bad server. Another gripe I still have is that I can't specifically opt out of the episode polls, which, as I'm using the "Checker Plus for Gmail" extension, sometimes give away both minor and major plot points... at least from what I could tell trying my darndest to avoid them. Don't want to filter them manually on account of potential overlap with show/movie polls and the possibility of them changing things around eventually, so having that option would kind of be nice, I suppose. Goes to show how difficult running "just" a website can be, huh
