No suspicion here, but I'm pretty sure, as is most everyone else here, that he is Bruno's son, or at least is in affiliation with him. And I don't think it's going to be all Mr. Nice Guy and then BAM! "Jokes on you, I'm actually evil Nat and I never liked you! *evil laugh*" Although that would be a hilarious interaction.

I think Mateo is genuinely interested in Nat. It's just a shame he happens to be Bruno's son. I think Bruno has shielded Mateo from what he really does.

It could be that he's Bruno's son but I think Bruno wouldn't reveal any of his secret plans to him so he will still be innocent but figure out his dad is not what he thought he was
