Do you think Mandalorians really attacked that shuttle?

Karabast! Didn't see that cameo coming.

Ethaya

I hope it is Sabine with her own group of Mandos. Also I screamed karabast when I saw Zeb. What a cameo. So fun. Hope to see the rest of the ghost crew soon

Marc Montes

I think it's... ...the Imperial Super Commandos!

I think for sure it's Sabine with her own sect of mandalorians who want justice for their planet. I can't wait to see Sabine interact with Bo, Din, and the Armorer!

Mason_W

It could be mandalorians who are loyal to Moff Gideon since he was the last one to wield the dark saber, and many mandalorians don’t know that Din Jarin won it from him in battle. So once he was taken by the new republic they might have rescued him thinking he is still their rightful ruler.

Definetly the nightowles and making the coming together more complicated with Bo

Pretty sure it was just another group of Mandos out there - Sabine’s whole arc in Rebels gave plenty of reasons for her or others to chase down Imperials after the war.

Both... i think it could have been Mandos but hired by Moff Gideon to set them up to take the fall...

In season 2 episode 13 of Rebels we are introduced to another Mandalorian covert "The Protectors". I think they could be introduced to be the ones against Mando and his creed. Since they are said to be enemies to the Clan Vizsla, they also fight for the Empire. Id love to see even more Rebels tie-ins after Zeb.

Hard to say, on one hand I can't blame a group of Mandalorians from distrusting the New Republic to punish him properly but on the other hand I can see him having a backup plan specifically to screw over Mandalorians.

Collecter343

My gut reaction in the moment was that it's a frame job, but after thinking about it more, I think it was Bo's former crew that ditched her.

Kyle S

There are so many different Mandalorians throughout the galaxy, all with varying beliefs and motivations. It’s completely plausible that some work for the Empire.

Alyson_1derland

The attack was probably from a group of Mandalorians we haven't seen yet.

Chaos T

The series literally starts with the Empire paying Mando in a pile of Beskar which sets off all the events to get us where we are now.

Erich Bomke

Mandalorians may have attacked the shuttle, not to rescue Gideon but to hold him to account for his crimes against Mandalore because they do not trust the New Republic to dispense justice.

Clare Voyant

I’m thinking that it could be a faction of mandalorians that are hold outs from rebels.

I think it's a plan by Thrawn to start a war between the Mandalorians and the New Republic and in the chaos attempt to use his consolidated forces to retake control of the galaxy, which will obviously be foiled (maybe by Ahsoka?).

Michael Lammers

Not the Mando’s we’ve been following, maybe Gideon has some information on Ezra and Thrawn that could’ve caused Sabine to take him?

Whit Dabney

I'm not sure how well I remember from rebels but what ever happened to the Mandolorians that joined the empire if they still exist, id say it could be them but the new republic won't realize it being an unintentional frame job

I think it was Bo Katan’s crew that went off to be mercenaries…maybe they grabbed him to give him their own Justice…but that’s wishful thinking.

Leticia Hallmark

I think it may be a sect of Mandalorians that follow Gideon because he had the Dark saber and may see him the way some of death watch saw Maul once he gained the dark saber

Christian Bolda

I just wanna say that the Manalorian siege on the Pirates at Navarro has to be my SECOND favorite scene in all of Star Wars. It's literally just Visual Ecstasy (for me). Nothing will top Mace windu chopping off Jango's head, but this shows ME just how much of a SW nerd I actually am. God bless The Mandalorian! (And people said this show fell off... HA HA HAAA! YOU FOOLS!)

HIM

I think Gideon will have some Imperial Mandalorian Supercommandos, like we saw in Rebels, who are still loyal to him, and they could be outfitted in beskar armor stolen during the Purge.

KrafterAnonymous

I would say that it is either a full-on frame job or at the very least it's a small faction of Mandalorian that did are making the rest look bad

Brandon Hanks

It's a frame job. I could certainly understand them snatching him to have their own brand of justice, but I don't think so.
