ooooh jenny has green lantern powers and her twin has shadow powers so green energy coming from shadows is what could be connecting shade to obsidian. they both control the shadowlands so that connect can be manipulated some how. maybe in the show they will make it that only one person can have that power and obsidian using his powers is weakening shade?
