2022-08-28 13:21:16 +0000 UTCI personally thought Prey was just okay. It's an interesting concept that wasn't executed very well, same with Predators. The action is really cool but i didn't care for most of the characters, and i found the ending incredibly stupid.
2022-08-28 01:25:26 +0000 UTCIt's due to them training for insane amounts of time, there was a law for hundreds of years requiring all men/boys to have bows/arrows and requiring them to train. The first laws making it a requirement were in the 1200s and seemed to stick around until atleast the 1800s. They trained from such a young age and so extensively that skeletons have been found with disproportionate arms and fused bones.

2022-08-27 11:21:42 +0000 UTCIn response to what Eric said about the archers, I've been practicing with a traditional English longbows for 4 years now, and can shoot a 50lb bow accurately up to 80 yards. Traditional users would have 200lb longbows and could shoot accurately up to 200 yards, such as the Vikings, Saxons, and samurai. I still don't know how they managed it to this day.

2022-08-26 17:27:04 +0000 UTCThere are quite a few demonstrations of Axe Roping on youtube. From what I gather it's extremely viable, you can still throw the axe with good accuracy and speed. But the pulling it back and flying into your hand is obviously meant for just the movies lol. Which I personally didn't mind because it's not like she was going around full kratos mode.
