I think Todd was a very poorly written character. Not in the way that his attitude or actions were bad, but the circumstances he is involved in the story were very contrived. What in the hell does MM's ex-wife see in this man? There is no way that she isn't aware of the things that MM knows to some extent. At the very least, she would know about his family history with superheroes. How is she into a raging Homelander fan that is the textbook Vought propaganda believer.

They really should’ve let MM beat up Todd more. Like let him take all his anger out on him. I’m talking beating him into the ground, blood splattering, having to be pulled back. Yes, his daughter would be traumatized, but she’ll grow up, and Todd definitely deserves it after seeing the finale.

I hate Maeve. She chucks nerve gas out a window, thought it was a good idea to give Butcher Temp V, betrays Starlight just before the finale, treated her girlfriend like shit, was horrible to starlight in season 1 and just because she was willing to sacrifice herself (which isn't automatically good. Butcher was willing to kill himself buy taking Temp V) Yet she gets a happy ending.

Todd is just that character we all can’t wait to die a horrific death. Can’t hate him too much for just being an idiot. Personally the Deep is really starting to get on my nerves.

Homelander. He was his absolute worst this season. He tormented everyone already him with glee. Once he realized he could attract a base with his actions he just used it as an excuse to bully everyone with glee. He murdered Super Sonic just to torment Annie was worst than anything Todd did for me. There was also how he made a girl with suicidal thoughts jump off a roof because he felt bad Stormfront died. He was going to harvest Maeve’s eggs to make a child. He made sure to tell her to torment her so she knew the thing she never wanted (have children with him) was going to happen. Don’t get me wrong Todd is a piece of shit. He barely registers with me. Whereas Homelander’s constant abuse and terror is front line and center. The few redeeming qualities he has aren’t enough to excuse all his worst ones.

I don't know. Todd may be an idiot, but The Deep/Kevin is a complete scumbag and just as much of a Homelander puppet. I used to hate A-Train more, but he is making a legitimate effort to be a better person. So yeah, The Deep.
