you should have access to 4 episodes ahead of Youtube for non-live shows. 5x20 went public on YT today which leaves 5x21 5x22 6x01 & 6x02 available via Patreon. The youtube videos you see on their website for these episodes are unlisted. So if you want to watch the full-length you then switch over to Youtube for the discussion. 2022-06-28 03:03:55 +0000 UTCGarrett and Deb, sorry, i edited down my first post I wasn't trying to imply they don't like all female characters, obviously they do, I'm just saying that in my 5 yrs of being around here, that's something I've noticed. In regards to AOS deb, I'd like to think they didn't have a favorite in that show, But they did have a lot of issues with the lack of fitz in the final season as if he was.

Yeah Aaron was excited for Robert Englund, Im sure if Sigourney waver showed up he or rick would also be really excited. I see what your saying. I just don't agree. I would say they freaked out more for Ashoka than most other people showing up in any of their content. Saying they dont like female characters is just inaccurate.

2022-06-27 22:45:19 +0000 UTCI don't like gina and It wasn't a criticism Garrett, but it is true. They just prefer to see guys they like . Just consider how giddy Aaron was for 10 minutes during Stanger Things when Robert Englund appeared, and he didn't even know whether or not it was even him.

I think out of all the seasons she's gotten less laughs than most the guest stars. for me personally. The whole show is "ridiculous and out there" that doesnt suddenly make someone not funny, funny.

Black Sails is the best example I can think of. Two nearly identical characters, One male one female. They loved one and hated the other.

It looks especially bad given the horrible experience Terry Crews had in the acting industry.

2022-06-27 20:39:07 +0000 UTCIn the end the only thing that matters in a sitcom is "is it funny?". The awful characters in Always Sunny, Seinfeld, etc. aren't good people but their antics are funny. The writing surrounding Gina often just doesn't land at all, partially because she doesn't mesh well with the rest of the cast.

2022-06-27 17:42:38 +0000 UTCIts purely because for the most part she is surrounded by well intentioned likeable people so she is a wolf among sheep and we throw negatives at that. Whereas Seinfeld is 4, not terrible, but not great people that all piggy back off one another and never seem terrible until it is shown to you as being wrong. Jerry and Larry are masters of human interaction, thus the characters feel like real people, where Gina is purposely written to rub you the wrong way and not be likeable. Its one of the few flaws of this show that the writers just weren't able to correct.

Her character is tonally inconsistent with the other characters on this show and doesn't really fit into the group as well as the others do. It makes her character a more jarring inclusion in this particular show.

That's the setup for a lot of sitcoms , Always Sunny, Community, Arrested Development, etc
