Obi-Wan Kenobi 1x5 - Poll!

This was the first time after all these years that we got to see Hayden play Anakin and I'm glad that it was more of a raw/pure and natural performance. They can always de-age him in future projects if we ever get to see more of young Anakin on screen, but this first time seeing him again was perfect as it was. Besides, I feel that it was also more respectful towards the actor that he was given the opportunity to re-act the character just as before without having his performance tampered with.

I said more de-aging because I did notice it and it did distract me for a moment to where I didn't know if they de-aged him at all, so I was taken out of it a little, but I don't hate it or think it's trash like I'm sure some people do. Also it's Ewan looks like he just walked of the set of attack of the clones in comparison

I personally wasn't bothered at all. I much prefer having the original actor rather than running the risk of having not great deaging. I'm also just happy to see Hayden Christensen as Anakin again after all the shit he got with the prequels.

Why does everyone need a deepfake to be perfect or deaging. We all know how old he is in real life . So why should we expect Attack Of The Clones Anakin when he is 20 years older. Luke Skywalker is likely the best you will ever get in star wars but people still complain about the voice or just need to complain.

I definitely noticed it especially around the chin but that was immediately followed by OMG HAYDEN AND EWAN ARE SPARRING IN THE TEMPLE so if this is how Disney gives that too many you know I’ll always ask for more. Definitely not a problem.

It took me out of it for a minute, but then I just imagined that this was Vader's way of picturing himself at his current age in the past (like a certain character in a certain other show)
