Seeing this a week late but I'm totally in the camp that Eleanor killed Armond but she totally went "downstairs" to kill Kate's dad in the first scene

Eleanor, you dont cast that actress unless its for a bigger role i think i think the show wants you to believe jack is evil i dont think he is, Also That character at the end was Echo

I think it's Jack, he seems obvious and is probably a red herring but I believe that Eleanor is in on it and is more likely to have killed Kate's dad. Maybe she asked Jack to do it for her

People are saying it's too obvious to be Jack but personally thought when I first watched it that the show was straight up telling us it was Jack to form some dramatic irony (when the audience knows something that a character does not know). I could be very wrong of course.

I feel like Jack HAS to be a red herring. He's way too obvious a suspect. Especially since even the main characters suspect him - That's a sure sign that there's gonna be some sort of twist. Either it's not him, or it's not ONLY him.

I voted jack, but I just hope that it's way more complex and bigger than that, for example with the candy clue that is way too obvious for Jack being the killer. Maybe some framing, or maybe other characters that we haven't seen yet (related to Eleanor or Jack). Plus his name really sound french (i'm french), could it be a villain name ? With that moustache, what else ? And i also wanted to say that the first time we saw Jack, he reminded me of Pedro Pascal's character in WW1984, over confident and creepy smile !

Jack seems way too obvious, but i feel like the obvious answer is sometimes right. That or Kate's dad is still alive and he and her mum are pretending he's dead, cos they were having the financial troubles at the start, and are doing this to make proper money somehow??

I know most people think Jack is too obvious to be a suspect. So obvious, in fact, that you wouldn't dare to expect him of being the murderer. Is what I thought until I saw everyone else echo these statements. Now I think it may not be Jack. Idk, maybe Yelena? Because of the post-credit scene in Black Widow? She might try to pin the murder on Clint since she blames Nat's death on him? (Now that I'm typing it out, it kinda seems like a huge stretch.) Maybe I just want more Florence Pugh, can you blame me?

for me it's Eleanor as marvel might combine 2 characters which is Kate's mom in the comics and madam mask plus in the start of ep 1 we don't really see who killed Kate's dad which is hinted in a way that he is killed by Eleanor and not because of the damage in the avengers 2012 fight plus I think there doing a cover up or a red haring with jack's character as in the comics he is the mentor for Clint and I think he is a good guy their but they might change it here in the show so who knows.

Either way I don't think Jack. Too obvious. It is weird watching though as a huge fan of Kate, since some comic backstop has been changed and some not but it makes me very curious if we will get stuff they removed in a different way.

I feel like they're leaning towards it being Jack. And I hope it's him, but I feel like he and Kate will keep accusing each other of the murder, and it'll end up being Eleanor or something. Also, I kinda want him to die. Fuck it, I'll vote Jack just because he's too much of a snob at fencing.

It's too obvious to be jack at this point of time and it would be much more interesting to see Kate comes to term in having to "fighting" her mom eventhough she said she was going to help protect her when her dad died Also Ronin's outfit was found in the Avengers compound not tower, the compound was where hulk snapped everyone back
