Annihilation would be an excellent film to discuss and react to! Sadly, at this point, I feel like Venom is going to win. 🙁

The thing you have to remember. There is nearly 2,000 votes and like 83 comments. The people who pick the winning vote are just enjoying the content and getting on with their lives lol Its the people who not only wanted something else but cant handle that it didnt win, so are leaving negative comments. Such a small majority. Basically out of 2,000 people you are seeing the worse ones lol.

I mean its not like this is free, they pay for the right to vote so people should have the right to complain, and this is the rare case where the complaints are actually justified

I wonder what the criteria is for what gets on the poll and what doesn't. Wonder Woman 84 was on a poll and unfortunately destroyed Birdman, Ex Machina, Redline and Soul.. but then Black Widow was a bonus reaction.. and even tho it was terrible, I appreciate that they reacted to it. Might have to do with the Disney+ show connections.

Annihilation is such good sci-fi. Not perfect by any means, but neither was Ex Machina or Sunshine and yet they’re all fantastic. Shame that it’s losing to… Venom.

Of course the mediocre superhero movie is winning. Why am I not surprised? Personally if I was you guys I'd just automatically react to any superhero flick since they are guaranteed to win these polls every time. Save the polls for other types of movies, so it's a little bit more fair and interesting for us patrons who are tired of superhero movies. ;)

To be honest, Venom wasn't that great of a movie. The vilain was cartoon ish and the story of the two main was actually easy to get bord of. Kinda disapointing after the first one really. But since it's new I guess people want you to experience it.

I love you guys but this might be the worst poll I’ve ever seen. Annihilation is incredible and it should be the clear winner here but Independence Day 2??? Life??? The Tomorrow War?? VENOM 2?? Is this the best sci fi options you could boil it down to? How did they even make it to the poll to begin with? This is when a larger poll with more options is desperately needed. A movie of the caliber of Whiplash took a shit ton of time for it to be even considered as a poll option but Venom 2 just slides in there and wins easily just because its a comic book movie, just react to it then and don’t include it in a worthless poll.

I hope they do Annihilation next. Good Lovecraftian sci-fi/horror is so rare. I know it's not a Lovecraft story but it is the genre. And Natalie Portman finally gets a good role in sci-fi again.
