It really depends on how you define luck. I think everything that happens can be traced back to other things that happened via physics (even if some of it is Chaos physics) but since I don't know the odds of things working out in my favor, you could call it luck.

Multi-billion dollar organizations, including colleges, don't gamble with prospects even if hardcore fans think they do. Tom Brady was noticed and given a shot for a reason.

2021-11-12 13:55:25 +0000 UTCComplicated issue. Science in recent years has confirmed that luck can exist but it's more of a self fulfilling prophecy than anything to do with probability. Depending on how you define luck, someone's state of mind can have an impact on perceived luck and your mind will notice patterns to make "luck" happen. 2021-11-12 12:57:26 +0000 UTCI don't watch this show, but I wanted to vote and leave my input on this anyway. I do believe in luck, but I also think it cam be more complicated than random at times. I think everything that happens to us has a semblance of chance attached to it. There's always a chance of something different happening and we can be lucky or unlucky in either case. I also believe that, depending on the situation, you can increase your chances towards a certain outcome, boosting your penchant to get/be lucky or even unlucky in a way. Such as managing to get your name put into a drawing more than once. So yes, I belive in luck, but I also believe that it doesn't always have to be put of nowhere and that you can work towards it. Again, depending on the situation.

Like, let's say there's a drawing, and you have to do specific tasks to get your name entered more than once. You doing those tasks increases your chances at winning, boosting your luck if you will.
