Editors reading the comments: The crew should know that the dub translators for Re:Zero are alternating translating the word "oni" as "ogre" and "demon". It is the same word in Japanese. "oni" are a particular type of supernatural being from Japanese folklore that are typically very strong, and have horns. They are often, but not always, depicted as being large and powerful like ogres, but they have magical power and thus are not like D&D ogres, nor are they simple large powerful beasts like traditional European ogres. For instance, Lum from the classic anime Urusei Yatsura is an oni (and an alien, since oni are explained in that world as being aliens). She is not huge and muscular, yet her father is.

Also I was hoping they would put together more of the correlations between the ogre story being related to rem and ram and the fact that last time he made friends with rem instead of ram. So maybe you could assume that ram was the one that killed him in this previous loop. But now opposed to making friends and connecting with rem he instead did that with ram this time. Now we see that rem is the one trying to kill him. When ram asked him which color ogre he would be friends with and choose he chose both of them. Just some stuff you can put together with all that information and foreshadowing made this episode. I expected a little more discussion but maybe that is just my knowledge of rezero and anime in general.
