I just thought Aaron was saying it dismissively and I like anime and I thought I was just trying to explain how it's different from say the tropes of 20 minute episodic anime as he may mean it, and is more akin to feature length Disney animation, but then people started being upset with me and getting personal. I think I misheard him explaining why he hadn't seen it...he said "It's anime and I haven't seen a lot of anime" but I thought I heard "It's anime and I dont like a lot of anime", which doesn't sound similar but that's my mistake. I meant well, so I fully retract all that I said. I was 100% in the wrong.

2021-04-09 14:07:23 +0000 UTC... Dude. It's an anime. Anime isn't a genre. It just means it's an animation from Japan. And Japanese refer to all animated shows and movies (yes, even western ones) as anime. It's just short for animation over there. Jesus, this reminds me of people that insist on saying they read "graphic novels" because saying comics sounds too childish.
