You are saying two different things now. You are saying that anime is meant to watch back to back, and that really you should just read the manga instead of dealing with episode structures of tv. I enjoy the weeb insult, but you have to see in your first comment that you clearly say you should watch it as it was intended, all in one go, or without week breaks. Which crumbles because that's how the show was released in its original run. Makes no difference if a show is derived from source material or not, if its released once a week at 20 minutes, then that's what it is. There is no debate. If the crew watches one episode a week, that's exactly how everyone else did it when it aired. Honestly, maybe you just need to work on your phrasing, but where it stands the OP said he didnt like the filler, and your rebuttal was that the only reason its filler is because they aren't watching it fast enough. Which is not true, they are watching at normal speed. Then when people told you that they are watching it just how the studio intended when they released, you went rogue and started discussing formatting of text vs video which is a completely different discussion along the lines of film adaptation.

So many smartasses on Patreon but you guys don't think about the logic. Animes are derived from manga, manga has no 20 minute episode limit, you might get lots of explanation in text blocks but you still get a lot of story in individual chapters. Anime's have to try and split up a literal book into 20 minute bite sized chunks on a week by week basis. On top of that, think about it, a book can throw as much text as it wants with no time limit, but anime's actually have to have people say all that text which takes up a lot of the 20 minute timer for each episode. Making fun of me but I'm the most logical here Erich you baka lol

The episodes literally came out one every week tho. I understand for people it might be dragged out but for this arc specifically I think its done this way because so much is happening in a short time frame.

Honestly Ikalgo's whole subplot here just feels wack to me and it has every time I've watched the show. I don't mind his character, but compared to all of the other events going on I just always realize that...I don't give a shit what Ikalgo is up to lol. Show me literally any other character instead.

Its just you leave on such a hype note then every other episode is them slowly walking up the stairs and some boring detective wolf stuff idk.

It's only bad when you watch it literally week by week. People can watch shows how they want but cutting up a story bit by bit to watch once a week is a great way to destroy the pacing of any show, unless it's made to fit that time frame like Mandalorian with semi-contained stories. Anime's on the other hand just pick up right where you left off so it's weird breaking up like that.

I've had the same issue; do you have difficulty with unlocking your higher tier? My solution was to click on one of the videos from a lower tier. This allowed me to unlock with patreon, and my browser would retain this cookie. So when I then went to click on say a Four-sight rider video, it takes me straight through. Hope this helps.

Ill be honest these past few hxh episodes have been lacking for me, the typical shonen padding I guess but good lord are they drawing it out.

Anyone got any advice? Been a patreon a few months but suddenly can’t access anything and when I click “unlock with patreon” it takes me to “complete your monthly payment” despite me having already paid...tried what it said in the video but that didn’t work, tried changing the currency as I saw someone else was advised to do but that didn’t work either

Next week Hunter episode is going to be ridiculous
