I've tried to get into Blade Runner (I've watched it 3-4 times over the years) and it just never has hit for me. I find it incredibling boring, but I know a lot of people love it though.

I totally understand why Blade Runner is winning, despite my not actually caring for it very much. It's just such a foundational piece of sci-fi that had so much influence on the genre in the years that followed that you kind of have to get to it eventually. That said, I'm still going to toss my vote to Moon. Such a smaller film, but I really thought it was a great piece of sci-fi storytelling.

This is kind of an unfair poll. Blade Runner is going to win, as it should. I don't know why this film was included here because it's a film the crew should watch anyway. Blade Runner is basic viewing. It should have been something they watched a long, long time ago when Shane was part of The Blindwave.

I mean it's pretty much the same couple of thousand people that vote on every poll. The majority haven't obviously seen it, and are most likely to vote for a movie they already like. I'm sure alot of people actually want to see it, but they are probably not going to watch it for the first time, until the crew does. That being said, I'm really hoping it wins someday... but it's not going to be easy, considering the new HBO releases this year, and other great movies from these past years.
