2020-10-06 11:58:31 +0000 UTCVoted for Texas chainsaw massacre as its hilariously bad! Although it was made on a tiny budget in the 70s so i shouldnt be too harsh!
Stretch
2020-09-26 15:24:09 +0000 UTCExcited for the horror films but I still want a reaction to Hamilton.
2020-09-22 01:12:43 +0000 UTCI agree. It was certainly a groundbreaking film. I didn't vote for it because I feel like Texas ChainSaw would get them to "react" more.

2020-09-21 18:40:58 +0000 UTCYes, they should include who has seen each movie among the group. This would definitely impact the voting, I think.

2020-09-21 14:06:11 +0000 UTCI had a similar stretch where I think only one show at the time was interesting to me, out of their lineup. It happens.

2020-09-21 06:00:19 +0000 UTCDamn, this last year has been a rough year as a patron for me. My tastes are often very different than the majority of BW patrons so there's not a ton of content that I'm consistently interested in. I do like horror though so that's nice. Unfortunately it happens to be my luck that the option clearly in the lead happens to be a film that I have an unpopular opinion on and don't think is good at all. Crossing my fingers for that better luck on that 2nd poll.

2020-09-21 00:08:24 +0000 UTCI love these guys as much as anyone else here but I really feel like for the Movie polls they should put in brackets who has already seen the film. I was looking forward the Dredd one for two weeks and was kinda disappointed that it was only a new experience for one of them. If it’s on the poll I kinda assume that most of them haven’t seen it. Love your stuff though!

2020-09-20 19:44:09 +0000 UTCDon't worry, come November it will win the next poll it's in :)
Conner Simpkins
2020-09-20 17:53:41 +0000 UTCHope they put Hereditary/It Follows on the 2nd poll or even Annihilation if that counts. Texas Chain Saw Massacre is also a great movie so looking forward to that cause it looks like that one is gonna win.

2020-09-20 16:57:56 +0000 UTCThe Blair witch project 2 is actually hilarious but suppose to be scary, would make for a good reaction.
Ruben Lopez
2020-09-20 16:33:45 +0000 UTCA mixture if factors. One has to be having g people who have not seen the movie. While some scary movies may be great reactions, many of the more popular and well know have been seen by the crew already. So it's going through to find what may be good and who has seen what.

2020-09-20 16:16:10 +0000 UTCWhat chooses these options?
KevinFromNewYork
2020-09-20 15:03:41 +0000 UTCThe acting in that movie makes me cringe a little tbh... I get that it's a classic, and admittedly I enjoyed it back in the 90s when I saw it, but not anymore.

2020-09-20 13:03:18 +0000 UTCColor out of Space has the most stereotypical Nick Cage acting I've ever seen. He's so over the top, it's actually hilarious.

2020-09-20 07:13:28 +0000 UTCA Silent Voice was so close to winning last time, I understand this is for Halloween but it's shame it isn't on this poll

2020-09-19 23:44:17 +0000 UTCTCM doesn’t have any gore. Not really. Think you should go back and watch the film again. It’s virtually bloodless. Which was intentional as Tobe Hooper was going for a PG rating and not R.

2020-09-19 23:43:23 +0000 UTCColor out of space is a fucking trip

2020-09-19 23:10:04 +0000 UTCPsst "The Witch" is a good horror movie.

2020-09-19 22:35:13 +0000 UTCI JUST finished watching Color Out of Space for the first time when this poll showed in my feed. Obviously something like Rosemary's Baby is a much stronger contender, personally, but it was honestly a solid film. Felt very much like "From Beyond" in certain ways, and had that Lovecraft vibe all over it.

2020-09-19 22:34:52 +0000 UTCHamilton!
BrokeHighMan
2020-09-19 22:34:25 +0000 UTCExactly. I'm surprised at how few people have heard about and seen it. I thought it was awesome...plus it's got crazy Nicholas Cage doing what he does.
Wray Townsend
2020-09-19 22:34:01 +0000 UTCI never thought I would be sad to see Dredd winning something. This week should have been a double drop for being SOOO close!
Erich Bomke
2020-09-19 22:23:25 +0000 UTCColor out of Space would make for a great reaction. I’m assuming it’s low just because a lot of people haven’t seen it. I’m telling you it’s the good kind of weird.

2020-09-19 22:22:54 +0000 UTCRosemary's Baby is a great movie won't win because it's to old but definitely the best of the list
