Mads Mikkelsen as Hannibal Lecter is even my favorite. I never thought someone could be as good or even better as Anthony Hopkins but Mads took it to another level for me. Only 3 seasons . I am sure you guys would love it

This is probably the most serious movie they've done aside from 1917 and Joker, but it's not as visually complex as 1917 or as sad/serious as Joker. They can't just sit there and quietly watch the whole time, they have to say something and I guess they felt humor was the main thing they could contribute. I thought it was a bit much at times, but there were also some pretty funny parts. I think one thing that stinks more is that even though they hadn't seen the movie, they were extremely familiar with all the famous scenes due to pop culture. Overall I still think it was a good reaction.

One of the biggest parts of the movie is the incredibly tense scenes and they were just clownin around. Idk maybe I'm just being a dick.

2020-09-05 22:45:35 +0000 UTCI could be wrong but when they talking about Sean Connery I think he was actually up for the role of Gandalf not Saruman and he turned it down cus he thought it was dumb and the movie would be bad and THANK GOD he did cus otherwise we would have been robbed of ian Mckellen who cant be replaced ever now honestly the whole LOTR cast was cast so perfectly if they ever remake them no one will ever come close to matching their performances

2020-09-05 21:20:16 +0000 UTC1) Red Dragon is a remake of Manhunter, which takes place before Silence of the Lambs. 2) Another thing that made The Silence of the Lambs' Oscar coup that much more impressive was the fact that it was released in February the prior year, way before "Oscar season," not to mention it's the only horror film to ever win. It won solely on the basis that it was a really good movie that everyone liked.
