Definitely alive. A body isn’t even a guarantee of death, but we didn’t even see that. They spent the whole episode showing us various telekinetic barriers blocking objects. I’m assuming he’s alive, though possibly injured.

We should know by now.... if you don't see a body, they aren't dead. Even then maybe there is a Lazarus Pit somewhere on this Earth that could be used, like Oliver did with Sara and Thea in Arrow.

Ahsoka's double did do some of Yolanda's stunts back in episode 4 (the footage Eric saw), but not in this episode. The rest of the time, Ahsoka's double (Lauren Mary Kim) is actually Cindy/Shiv's & Tigress' stunt double. Yolonda's stunt double here (Kiera O'Connor), and the rest of the time, is Daisy/Quake's (Chloe Bennet) stunt double on Agents of SHIELD. Stargirl's stunt double (Kristina Baskett) was Arya Stark's (Maisie Williams) stunt double on Game of Thrones.

I think the Henry we know and mourned as he redeemed himself is definitely dead. If he somehow survived, or is somehow reanimated, he will not be the person he was anymore. So for his sake, I truly hope he’s dead.

as emotional as it was - its rocks falling on people in a superhero show so.. i ain't buying it.

tk shield no duh! telekines always create a tk field as a self defense. heck anyone with shield powers does. this rock falling on top of you shit has happened to magneto, jean grey, invisible woman, etc etc and they always pop out and go "phew! good thing i put that shield up just in time". jean did it at the end of x2 but to protect from water instead of rocks

In a comic book, if you do not see the crushed body, the character is certainly alive, though they may be injured or otherwise incapacitated.

I'm hoping that Henry Sr. didn't actually kill Mary and said it to keep Henry on his side of the bars so he could then FAKE Henry's death and make sure Icicle didn't take someone else he loved. The scene was super emotional regardless and I really, REALLY enjoyed this episode.

I chose alive because I want him to be but honestly I'm stuck right down the middle, but I do want to say that I was under the impression watching the episode that Brainwave killed Mary because she found out he helped killed her brother and was going to take Henry away from him.

I think he's alive, if any of the shows that we watched has taught me anything, we didn't see a body. Either that or it's just a family show and they don't want be too brutal

It looked impossible for anyone to survive that but you have to remember Rule 1 of anything related to comic books. Unless you see a dead body expect them to have lived.

I'm assuming that Brainwace Jr has a sort of reflex so that he covered himself with a telekinetic barrier. I don't think he will be revealed to be alive till season 2 or at least the end of season 1 though.

It was a shocking moment but it seemed way too abrupt. I think Brainwave faked his sons death so that Stargirl and the others would stop trying to turn him to their side. He could have telekinetically pulled him away before the larger debris hit him.
