You’re right, it’s still early and he can change his mind later in the arc but based on what we saw and heard from him watching different shows, I think and I might be wrong that he’ll hate them until the end lmao and that’s why I like Aaron who brings a different point of view with more empathy and understanding.

He is always like that, a little bit annoying but he is also the one who brings like he did in this episode (or in The Promised Neverland and in general) a different perspective, another point of view while Eric and Shane hate the bad guys no matter what, without trying to understand them or empathise. That’s why I’m conflicted lmao, he talks a loot but he has interesting thoughts and points of view.

A good Story evolves and a good Villian isnt just bad but has motives to do so these Ants are the only one of their species and they are fighting for their own survival which is brilliant because in our world Ants have the most complexed society beside humans. The discussion at the end was great you maybe hit some future plot points there :D

Yeeah this is where the show stops being HxH for me... Silly looking "ants", betrayal of many of the things that made me like the original cast, lack of the original cast, focusing way too much on the ants, mixing silly and serious in a way that just doesn't work for me.... I could go on but let me just say that it says a lot that the author started drawing the manga like initial draft scribbles when this arc started.
