2020-06-16 15:57:35 +0000 UTCI believe when they did the shot for when he’s flipping, they had like an iPhone attached to the actor, which the camera then tracked. From here the camera moved at a perfect pace because it was literally moving with his body. Corridor Crew covered this on their VFX series, which I think was episode 18 or 19

2020-06-14 07:52:42 +0000 UTCI think the reason Stem couldn't defeat Fisk (the nanobot guy) is because Stem is just a smarter brain that could control perfectly the movement of Rey's body, while the nanobots not only are also kind of AI, but they outright enhance the body to do better than what is humanly possible. So in a fight where both combatants have equal skill and can read each other moves, the stronger and faster one would win. I loved how many layers with no answer exist in the movie. For one part we have Stem who is his own faction by himself with Rey's body, then we have the humans that have enhancements in their bodies that consider themselves a different species, and then there is that hacker that totally seemed to be part of some kind of emerging resistance against the other two factions.

2020-06-14 01:20:52 +0000 UTCI feel like Aaron just can't get his head around a movie where *SPOILERS* the villain wins more or less outwright, and the hero gets an ambiguous well is this good or bad?. I understand how to some that might not feel satisfactory in traditional film storytelling but for dark sci-fi it's very appropriate and fits in to the themes.
