I forgot this show did some good backstory on the Black Widows thing. This show also had the most support from the movie studio since D'Esposito ("MS 2nd in command") was a producer and was way into the show. Probably why Jarvis got to be on Endgame

2020-06-01 16:34:48 +0000 UTCEric & Aaron, Trip's grandfather was most likely Gabe Jones (from the Captain America: The First Avenger movie). The black guy here (not to sound racist) is Happy Sam Sawyer. It was never explicitly stated. But in Agents of SHIELD 2x1: "Shadows", Trip went undercover using the alias "General Jones". When Coulson went to see Trip's mom after Trip died, there was a picture of the Howling Commandos on her wall and Gabe Jones was the only black guy in the picture. So Gabe Jones was most likely Trip's grandfather, not Happy Sam Sawyer. Dum Dum Dugan (AKA Damien Darhk) is the only Howling Commando from the movie to appear in this episode. P.S. Happy Sam's actor was also D.L., Micah's dad on Heroes.
