Rick and Morty 4x8 - Poll!

The vat of acid is an amazing idea... I don't know about you guys, but i would never expect a breathable vat of acid. could it be improved on of course, but I would trust Rick to keep me alive, so if he thinks it's a good idea, then who am I to argue.

It was a good idea that was unnecessary in the first situation but worked out in the end.

It was a bad idea, but a fantastic episode. Question: Since Rick was the first person to use the “save state” device after killing Morty, doesn’t that mean we are now technically following a different Morty?

It was a great idea. The only thing I would add to the Vat of Acid is a Mountain Dew resistant tablet so I can check my Porn Hub account.

I’m going with the rest and saying it’s a stupid good idea, but I feel like it can only work so many times like at the end when everyone gathered around the vat and started talking it seemed like another scenario where it would of been prolonged like in the beginning and Rick wasn’t having it, otherwise tho this episode was good

I mean it was detailed and thought-through, but the basic premise is pretty stupid. He can find hundreds of more convenient ways of allegedly killing himself considering how many different devices he invented. He could turn himself into a pickle!

Considering every time people saw Rick and it Morty jump into the acid it so shocking that people have stop to talk about it I’m going to have to say it was a stupid idea. At the very least Rick could have used his portal gun to leave as soon as they hit the acid and teleported away.

It was a good idea, just not in the Rick and Morty universe. In any other universe it would have worked perfectly because nobody would realistically stay there for so long pondering life after seeing someone dissolve in acid.

It's a stupid plan. Rick's acid plan is built on the idea that people will leave after they think he's dead. He surmises this based on him always leaving after killing other people. He fails to consider other people don't think and act like him. He fails to consider that other people would stick around. Guess what, people stuck around. Both times. He had to shoo the people away the second time.

I'm 50/50. At first it was stupid, but then it ended up being a great idea because it saved Morty in the end. However, it also costed him glasses girl now that she thinks he's dead. All of this crazy shit because Rick couldn't accept that Morty didn't like the vat of acid idea. Also, fucking Jerry!!!

Are you counting the second one as a success? I count that as a fail. If Rick wasn't outside of the vat, it would have gone pretty much the same way. After Morty jumped in, the people stayed. Rick had to shoo them away. Even after that, two of the cops stayed. One even had his own ladle to test the acid.
