Update for Replacement Poll Shows

B99 is a great show, but it's terrible for a reaction series, especially in the style that Blind Wave is known for. Theorizing, discussions, dissection...how can they do that with a show that is dedicated to making you laugh each episode without really advancing any semblance of plot or developing characters? Good series, just not reaction worthy.

It'll be a while. B99 has 7 seasons and a ton of episodes each, and it's still going. I guess the best we can hope for is when another show finishes and they have a poll to replace that.

B99 is a funny show. I enjoy it a lot. But is a terrible choice for a reaction series. There's no long-form story to discuss or wonder about and the episode count is... not small. It will be wasting a spot for years. And again, I really like the show. It's funny and fun to watch. But it is very much not one made for good reactions. Hopefully there will be another spot opened sooner than later and a show like The Expanse (as an example), which is an ideal reaction show, or something similar can finally win. I feel confident they would really love it. Oh well...

Nine- Nine is the best, in terms of comedy. With substance not entirely but it’s not bad either but I was also surprised that it won, but I’m happy cuz it’s really really funny. As for TPN I think these guys are gonna like it, it’s one of the first new aged anime series that I like next to mob psycho 100 I think the blind wave guys are gonna like both jobs

I’m happy for TPN but don’t understand how Brooklyn Nine Nine won lol Anyway doesn’t matter American humour way different to UK. It’s decent show but saying it’s the best comedy baffles me.

I just checked and there are 143 episodes of b99. That's nearly 3 years wasted on a show that is not suited for reactions. Can we see the results? Until we do, I really don't understand how that show could have won.

The Expanse is one of the best shows on television right now and you guys are wasting your and our time with worthless common denominator sitcoms. The most frustrating part is that I know every single person would enjoy it, especially other blind wave subscribers that haven't watched it yet.

I was really hoping Better call saul would win. this would be the perfect time to start this great show and catch the last season next year. But since 99 won, now I have hope that one day we will see community

I can't believe the Expanse lost again, I have literally voted for it every time. I can't believe they are going to react to Brooklyn 99 instead. While Brooklyn 99 is an entertaining show, it brings nothing of note to the reaction side of things. There is no real conjecture or theories that can be developed about it, there are no interesting perspectives to be brought about by watching it, there is functionally very little that a reaction can add to the material itself. I feel like this will be another Good Omens reaction, in which there is a fun show and they laugh and make comments, but where there is very little to be gained in regards to the discourse it provokes or the perspectives they have on the material. I feel they will either find episodes fumy or less funny depending on the episode and will struggle to find anything more meaningful to say about the material. This is quite disappointing. It just feels so disheartening when they are given material that most likely does not provoke interesting discussions. I don't know how much longer I can justify being a patron, it seems my interests fall outside the interests of the majority of patrons and thus my voice will never be heard no matter how long I remain a part of this community. I don't know why I am writing this, I just feel so let down every poll and feel more alone, and I am certain that people will give me hate over this post I just needed some place to express my despondency.
