Seasons 1 and 2 are the obvious top 2. But I went with season 5 for number 3. Yes, Cicada does suck. But 5 also had the most Reverse Flash besides 1, and that's always a plus. Season 3 started out with wasting Flashpoint, had some high points (mid season finale, some fun stuff with Savitar after the reveal), but the overall story felt weak to me and was not helped by the fact that it was the third speedster villain in a row. Season 4 was fine. Ralph was and is a great addition, but it got boring as well. Season 6 had a great start, culminating in a great performance from Grant in 6x7, but the back half was so weak that it hurts the season as a whole a lot. So season 5 takes third by default for me

Season 1 and 2 are my favorites. Season 3-5 i really disliked for boring plot, villains, and melodrama. I was hoping it would have a resurgence like arrow did in season 5 but that didn’t happen. I will say season 6 wasn’t bad.

1, 2, and 6 are the strongest seasons for me. If I’m honest I even had some problems with those seasons too. 1 is the strongest for me because all the tropes that became the norm for Flash were still fresh, the characters were mostly likable, and the Thawne twist was done well (it wasn’t even kept secret from us. We learn pretty early he was the yellow streak, so we’re just waiting for them to fill in the blanks as opposed to them trying to keep the identity a secret up until the near end of the season like seasons 2 and 3 did. Season 2 had Zoom. While I hated they re-used the same twist as season 1 (mentor turned out to be the villain), they made Zoom a threatening villain who stood out from Reverse Flash and was fun to watch. Harry was a good addition and we got introduced to multiverse. Season 6 had problems and the second half is less focused I felt, but even with that I still feel it better watch them the past seasons who I felt really went off the rails more in their second halves. I really liked the Grodd episode or Wally’s return. I honestly felt the main cast was used far better in season 6. There was a far better balance of their world lives and superhero lives I felt. It was the first season I think I liked Killer Frost storyline I’d the season or didn’t feel it was wasted storyline (before the actress’ real life pregnancy forced them to change things, which is understandable). Flash losing the Speed Force actually provides a good limitation for Flash and a interesting obstacle to overcome. Next would be season 4, 5, and 3. Season 5 just barely edges out season 3 for me because I think they used Nora far better than season 3 used Wally. Savitar and Cicada are probably tied for me as worst big bad of the series. They both started out strong, but it was obvious the writers ran out of ideas on how to use them and they became jokes. Savitar in the back half of the season did nothing in the second half of his season except remind us he was going to kill Iris and we barely explored evil Barry plot. They put too much attention on the mystery and not the character. I think it was a dumb to make him a time remnant instead of the actual future Barry who went crazy. Killer Frost plot was just bad. Wally felt very wasted and Flahspoint was wasted on one episode. The ending to me seemed really forced to create drama by having Barry needing to go into the Speed Force. The Fifth season could have done so much more with Cicada. The actor was good when he played a normal guy before he got his powers, but they had him play over the top evil that it was hard to take him seriously. Honestly a director should have told him to stop that when he gave his performance and told him to play the part normally. Cicada stopped being t a threat when they established Killer Frost was immune to his power dampening. Instead of ending his story in the first half they chose to stretch it out way past the point of believability. Unpopular opinion, but I felt Thawne plot was weak. We all guessed he was playing Nora, so it felt like a rehash of season 1 plot. As soon as his plan to escape prison succeeded Team Flash saw his betrayal coming, went into the future and defeated him. For some reason instead of locking him up again they just let him go (just like they kept doing to Cicada). Thawne felt less threatening and cunning and more predictable. Barry never even fell for his act and already had a counter for him. For me Reverse Flash stories started becoming less creative and the writers are cashing in on our love of the actor and past episodes then doing anything really fun with the character like we got with Legends season 2 and Crisis on Earth X when he teamed up with Nazis. Some villains like Weather Witch started off bad then became good then bad in the same season. Killer Frost and Icicle story was wasted and only had two episodes dedicated to it. The cure storyline was handled badly with consent thing. I enjoyed the Barry, Iris, and Nora stuff for the most part. Ralph was a major improvement from season 4 and made me like him.

My ranking would be: 2 1 6 3 5 4 I do hope next season is better. I understand that this season couldn't be finished the way it was planned, and that's unfortunate. My hope for season 7 is that they focus on Godspeed and also bring back the Flash for real. It feels like these past 3 seasons have been too Barry and Co centric rather than The Flash. I understand that sometimes the budget doesn't allow for them to always use the Flash with all the CGI necessary, but honestly I would prefer it if they just did cheaper CGI if it meant more time actually seeing the Flash as the Flash. I think ever since they improved the CGI, the quality has gotten better visually, but we just don't get to see the Flash as much as we used to, and I really miss that. I think it's great developing Barry as a character, but I think he really needs another speed villain next season whether it's Godspeed, Black Flash, Reverse Flash, or something else. And I hope that happens. I do still think there are some other non-speed villains that they have left and honestly, one of those villains, is one of the villains they threw away (Killer Frost). I like that Caitlyn is good, but I feel like they also missed out on a villain that could really be a good challenger for the Flash without needing speed to make it exciting. I hope that with the new "paint jobs" we can see villains come back properly, but I also hope that we can see more villains that have more exciting story arcs.

1 and 2 are pretty obviously the two best seasons I like 1 better than 2 and my third would probably be season 6 but only because of Bloodwork, I didn’t enjoy any of the Mirror Master stuff in the second half, this show has had a villain problem for a while and it really shows considering they have to consistently bring back the reverse flash

Sort response. S1, 2, 6, 5, 3, 4 Seasons 1 and 2 are the best hands down. Reverse Flash, Zoom were awesome and I loved the tone of the Show. Light headed but serious. Also Barry Doing CSI work. Season 6 has to be my 3rd favorite. The first half was definitely better but it’s still much better than the rest of the seasons.

1. S1 - nerdy barry, great storlines, great weekly villains, reverse flash, og team flash, joe scenes, henry scenes. Everything in this season was just great. 2. S2 - harry, patty, wally, multiverse introduced, earth-2, zoom, cisco exploring powers, flashpoint cliffhanger. I enjoyed almost everything. 3. S3 - julian, savitar, kid flash, killer frost, HR Wells. It had it's problems but I still love this season and most episodes. 4. S6a - bloodwork and crisis. I think he was a great villian and crisis created many emotional scenes. I loved Grant Gustin's acting. 5. S4 - ralph, devoe, marlize, harry & cisco, barry in jail. Defiently the funniest season. 6. S5 - reverse flash/sherloque/nora storyline. Also Ralph finally being a detective and any Barry & Nora scene I loved. Cicada is better than people say in my opinion but not a fan of cicada 2.0. 7. S6b - I felt like there was no main storyline besides the speedforce dying, any blackhole episode was a filler. Wasn't a fan of Eva, mirrorverse or blackhole plots. I wished we saw more of how crisis affected everyone and creating the artificial speedforce.

Season One is easily my favorite. It has that love, care, and corniness that makes comic adaptations, like the Raimi Spider-Man movies, so memorable. I grew up as a huge Flash fan and although it wasn't the most accurate portrayal of the character, it was still a solid adaptation. Plus, it'll be extremely hard to beat Thawne's portrayal in any future adaptation. Season 2 is very solid, but I really don't like Zoom post reveal. It just made him a whole lot less interesting which just drug down a lot of the second half. Season 6 has easily become my third favorite. Bloodwork was fantastic and memorable and I even liked the show's version of Mirror Master once she became the full time villain.

#1 = S1 - just beats S2 cause of how great Tom Cavanagh is as Reverse Flash and Wells, had great twists and different ending than expected. #2 = S2 - Zoom is fantastic and just scary, has great moments showing off his speed and the fight where he breaks Barry's back after humiliating him in front of the city. The finale is what makes it weaker that S1. #3 = S6 - Honesty the rest of the seasons are good and bad, they seemed to drag on and this season I lost interest in the second half cause Bloodwork was good and felt rushed at the end for Crisis, I said S6 cause I felt it was Cicada could of been a great villain if the writing team put a little effort into him til they decided to make it a Reverse Flash story and focused on him and I actually enjoyed the relationship between Iris, Barry and Nora.

1- S1 is great. Good pacing & mystery, RF best villain, Cold & Grodd, powers well handled, Arrow members visits that makes it lived it. 2-S4 Harry, the humor, non speedster villain, and Barry development(before s5 regress him). He doesnt waver in his morality, doesnt time travel, knows to be careful of strangers. He learned lessons, inspires confidence and can teach a new hero. Also best or second best costume. 3-S2 it's discount S1. It has a lot of great episodes like dinausaur and the penultimate. Also zoom catching lightning. S1> S4 > S2 > S3 > S6 > S5

The first was basically perfect in my eyes. The second was close behind but lost some of its momentum at the end with the Zoom reveal not making much sense to me, especially with the time remnant stuff. The next three were pretty bad in my opinion with 5 being my least favorite of the bunch. 6 was actually a great change of pace with Bloodwork being a great villain to get things going. In order of favorite to least I'd say 1, 2, 6, 4, 3, 5.

Season one and two are the best but everything after was just... either mediocre, subpar or just all around ok in the grand scheme of things, sure some of the seasons had some cool episodes and moments, but if you were too ask me would I rather have a good-great season overall or a mediocre-subpar season but with some amazing episodes and moments here or there... well I gotta go with the first

Season 1 and 2 are for sure my 2 favorites. I picked season 6 as my third favorite just ahead of season 3. I think if this season could have ended the way they planned it would have given us a really good finale, and my biggest issue with season 3 was I thought the end of the season was a bit messy

First 3 seasons where the best.the rest of the seasons while they might have great episodes within the seasons... They sucked as a whole.. when you need to hold off about 22 episodes out of 23 to have a "big reveal" it gets old fast. Flash is to the point where the seasons should just be like 12 episodes.. they are stretching the seasons too much
