It just felt like there wasn't enough fallout for how drastic a situation Echo was in. It was like "Okay we can trust him, he joined the bad batch, moving on!" I guess war moves quick though 🤷‍♂️

There were unfinished reels of another episode with the Bad Batch taking place on Kashyyyk. Echo’s new armour looks so bad ass, I hope we get to see him again just so we might see that armour fully rendered

I really hope we do, I'd love to see if they give Echo proper Bad Batch armour. I was surprised Echo didn't ask Rex about Fives... Although I think that would have broken me haha. Really excited to see what the next episode has in store!!!

Before the cancellation it was planned for them to return in an arc on kashyyyk but since that’s out the window I don’t think they’re coming back

Wouldn't think they would be brought back, unless they are planning to have them be a counterpoint to order 66. Maybe their mutation caused a breakdown in the implant and they are put into a position where they have to exercise free will. So maybe as moral dilemma trope.

Yes, I wouldn't be surprised if Rex doesn't bring in the Bad Batch during the Siege of Mandalore. But, if this was the last time we saw them, then I'd be fine with it.

I hope not, at least not for a full episode. We already got 4 episodes with them and although I love them we should really move on to other stuff.

We have to see them again, we have to see Echo React to his brothers committing such atrocities. Or maybe see echo himself go order 66.

If this is all we get when it comes to the end of Echo and the Bad Batch clones then its very Anti-Climatic in my eyes. There were too many hints to say something could be up with Echo. I have a guess that sometime near the end of this season we will probably have an episode or two of them. Maybe they get involved in the Siege of Mandalore for some reason? Still looking forward to what they do with this season

If they dissapear and suddenly come to the rescue without any previous hint that they are coming, then it is still a deus ex machina. For example, the riders of Rohan in the battle of Helm's Deep are not a deus ex machina not because we know they exist, but because we already know that they'll eventually come.

I doubt it, and hope not. I feel this was a great ending for the Bad Batch and what’s left I’m happy to be left to my imagination. I do not want to see them involved with Order 66 though, that would make me woefully depressed.

If they did show up again, which they won’t, then it very genuinely wouldn’t be a Deux Ex Machina. The idea of a Deux Ex Machina is that it isn’t remotely set up, as it is a turn of phrase used to describe “the gods” coming in to fix the issue. It’s not set up, but this would be the set up if they were to return, therefore making it not a Deux Ex Machina. Cinemasins has completely ruined that phrase.

Originally, they were supposed to be heavily involved with an arc that took place on Kashyyyk, but since that’s not happening, unlikely. But they could easily pop up in books and comics.
