I also found it weird when they hugged since they havent met before in the books he met her when she was younger so it made more sense.

Paul Deasy

I thought the wish was already basically self explanatory that Geralt wished for them to be bound together and thats why she got so mad and questioned if the love was even real or not or if it was just cus of the wish

MustacheKash

He's just not as expressive as the others.

TbcAlex

I thought they were setting up Vilgefortz as a double agent here, which would explain why Cahir is "stronger", also it would explain why his blades ran out, why Cahir kicked him instead of killed him, and why he killed that northerner who was lying down.

Why does Shane look so bored...

SnorlaX

Here’s something that I found funny Siri: (runs off) Witcher: (rolls up) Man: honey I’m home Woman: I found a girl Man: a girl? What a surprise! Witcher good news! Cause the law of surprise

ChiefChill

The castle exists in the real world, it is in Poland (Witcher's homeland).

Garik

"Who is Yennefer?" Damn, I hate that line so much.

Garik

The show is a much more fan fiction than the games. (IMHO)

Garik

All 3 games take place after the books as a non-canon extension past the intended conclusion of the story. They’re really cool and all, but they’re essentially sanctioned fan-fiction and there’s virtually no chance of them being part of the show.

SladeClegane

So glad you caught how ciri could have been a child of surprise twice!

Alexander Mullins (Valathor95)

unfortunately yes :(

CATHY GARCIA

See y'all in 2 years I guess lol

Ruben Lopez

Rick you really need to reed the rest of the books. You have a year till season two :) Vilgefortz is a very important guy from the books, as well as Cahir. I didn't really get the decision to kill Mousac, or make Cahir stronger than Vilgefortz. The Battle of Sodden was mostly won because of his help, and he was proclaimed as a hero. Al in all, for me as a huge fan of books the show did a good job, but it could've been a bit better. Still looking forward to season two.

RhaenysR

I was gonna say he was mentioned in the wild hunt to be a former adversary to Geralt

Gary King

Vilgefortz is.... hes odd in the show. He never loses to Cahir in the book, and is actually revered after the battle as the hero of Sodden. He eventually does spiral a bit into a darker person, but at no point is it caused cause he gets his ass kicked by Nilfgaard. And yes, for anyone whos read the books, your looking at that paragraph going "That's wrong" or more likely "Slight understatement". I understand this, just trying not to spoil too much for anyone whos not read the books
