But Chain Jail and Stake of Retribution can only be used on the Spiders and the others only when he's in emperor time. Dousing is the only one that doesn't have a condition like that.

2020-02-02 07:07:44 +0000 UTCI know these guy are diehard dub fans and never like to aknowledge the sub but I'd really appreciate it if just this once the editors or someone who works with them could provide them with an original translation of the fortunes. I feel like a lot gets lost by trying to make it rhyme/fit in the english dub and it would make the conversation interesting comparing the two and nudge the convo in the right direction. Thank you.

As explained during the Uvo fight, Kurapika walks around with chains in full view to make his enemy assume he's a manipulator. So they won't expect the hidden weapon of an invisible chain.
