2020-02-01 04:20:16 +0000 UTCOn topic, but unrelated, I wonder if Ubbe should've been the one to take Hvitserk's storyline: with his previous admission of being terrified of Ivar, arriving late to the liberation of Kattegat, Bjorn's prior notion that Ubbe didnt really care for Lagertha because she killed Aslaug, never expecting Ubbe to kill Lagertha (although he attempted first) or go against Bjorn and join Ivar. And he would've really resembled Ragnar if he became an addict.

2020-02-01 00:58:03 +0000 UTCThink of it like this Hvit when at his lowest point was multiple times told to get over it and was then almost killed despite his issues, When Ivar sees him in that condition he doesnt get mad, try to attack ect. He saves him and comforts him the boat ride back. And then is being open to Hvit. Hvit is now in a unkown land and a mad king. He has no power and is new to the area.
