Why is Lex investigating Leviathan?
Comments
It's Lex. He only does things that will give him personal benefits. Although I can see it eventually be beneficiary for Supergirl and her crew

2020-01-28 17:22:57 +0000 UTCIt'll will be something that looks like its for the benefit of everyone but is in reality just another power grab for domination and the eventual destruction of Superman and Supergirl too.

2020-01-28 17:18:14 +0000 UTCI haven't watched this show yet but if it's Lex then it must be for personal gain!

2020-01-28 11:53:39 +0000 UTCHe is now a good guy and wants nothing but help the world. How can you not see that? :-D
2020-01-28 10:35:33 +0000 UTCLeviathan unchecked would be more powerful than him so he needs to put them down.

2020-01-28 07:26:54 +0000 UTCI voted for something else because I think it's a combination of the two. He wants to get rid of them because they are a threat to him. Lex is an ego-maniac. He thinks he can handle the Supers and their friends, but Leviathan is an unknown quantity that he has to remove from the equation.
2020-01-28 05:56:52 +0000 UTCIt’s Lex Luther, he doesn’t do anything unless he benefits from it

2020-01-28 04:35:39 +0000 UTCWho knows what's cooking up in that brilliant, genius, beautiful and bald head. No i am not talking about u Aaron u only have 1 of those four qualities

2020-01-28 04:28:55 +0000 UTCIf I could vote for both the first and second I would. Gain more power is a given, but they’re also aliens. Of course he’d want to get rid of them.

2020-01-28 04:15:28 +0000 UTCEven with the universe in danger he went for personal gain. I'm sure he is interested in using an organisation that had such great influence while staying in the shadows.

2020-01-28 03:55:40 +0000 UTCLex is a habitual user so he’s definitely using Brainy, Lena, and Leviathan for his own gain
Christian Bolda
2020-01-28 03:51:28 +0000 UTCProbably wants to destroy all shadow organizations so that he's the only scheming supervillain. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a cameo in the Flash

2020-01-28 03:48:47 +0000 UTCWhen it comes to Lex Luthor, the correct choice is always secret poll option number 4: -All of the above.

2020-01-28 03:46:12 +0000 UTCLex has too big of an ego to be afraid of Leviathan, even though he probably should be. Anything or anyone with a large amount of power, he sees as a tool for his use for world domination. Examples would be The Monitor, The Book of Destiny, Kryptonite, and The DEO. Additionally, I predict that Leviathan is the key to the Anti-Life Equation, which we all know that Lex is obsessed with in the comics.

2020-01-28 03:45:50 +0000 UTCI voted something else because I think Lex wants to get rid of them and become more powerful. If Crisis taught us anything it is that Lex will try to save both the world and achieve personal gain. I think Lex wants to get rid of Leviathan to protect his new life while also use them to gain even more power and influence.

2020-01-28 03:45:13 +0000 UTCLex is always using others for his own benefit. My bet is he plans on utilizing Leviathan’s power to dominate the universe as he tried in Crisis. That being said, it would be interesting to see him have some other goal in mind. Still self-serving but other than universal domination.

2020-01-28 03:43:51 +0000 UTCIt's Lex of course it's for his own gain, however, I think that with Leviathan he can perhaps become a more superior being. In the comics Lex has always wanted to be a new god, he's obsessed with the anti-life equation and perhaps in the arrowverse, Leviathan is the key to the anti life equation. They have dropped the name in this show and I think it's possible they might make it more than just a reference.
