Geralt went through the trial of the grasses like all the other Witchers, but he responded exceptionally well to the mutation so they tested further mutations on him that other Witchers did'nt get. As far as we know from the games and books, Geralt it the only Witcher to survive these further trials.

Because we saw the now king and his sister as children. Or is it just a game-given that I didn't notice them mention before this? (Entirely possible)

2020-01-02 16:13:42 +0000 UTCThere have already been references in the first two episodes and I don't think they've picked up on them either so I'm curious to see how they react over the next couple episodes. I was lost as hell the first time watching the show but I was still enjoying it so I just went for the ride. I rewatched the entire season and it was so much more fulfilling and rich when you pick up on the dialogue that shows how connected everything really is.

I thought that would be a big moment for them this episode in realizing how the 3 character stories fit together.
