I think our guy is a goner. But because he raised IG-11 from scratch, I think the void left behind has a chance to be filled. All-in-all, a truly great Star Wars character will be missed, but hopefully we will gain another.

I would be devastated but I'm 99% sure he's dead. However I think IG–11 will be heavily involved in the next episode so if he can get Kulil frozen in Carbonite fast enough he might live long enough to be saved. Awesome reaction as always. :-) <3

As much as it pains my poor Star Wars heart, I have to accept the fact that Kuiil is dead, in compliance with the story. THAT BEING SAID, we are talking about stormtrooper accuracy. So there may just be a chance.

I'm sorry guys, Kuiil is dead. He was smoking like Aunt and Uncle Owen were when Luke found them dead. I'm sad to see him go, but I'm glad the show is taking these steps down a darker and grittier path.

I believe he is dead but IG11 will hopefully save the day....Never Underestimate a Droid (yes that’s a The rise of Skywalker reference) Even though that movie was Trash 🤮. I love star wars thank god we got mandalorian because this show is FANTASTIC.

Probably dead because this series seems to not be interested in keeping a huge cast of characters alive for too long. That being said, I still voted for him to be alive because I’m an optimist and he’s too interesting to kill off after three episodes. Maybe I’ll be right...who knows??

I think he might be alive long enough to tell IG11 to go and save the baby. But if he's already programmed to protect him then he might just come off the ship and see his dead body with no baby there and then go to the rescue on his own.

I voted alive because when baby Yoda force choke slams the scout troopers, heals Kuiil and rescues Mando with IG-11 and the ship in one fell swoop, my life will be complete.

I think he'll be alive enough to give his final breath AND order to IG-11 to protect the child and help the Mandalorian in his stead.

Gutted to say it but I think my favourite Ugnaught is gone. There had better be some epic rescue mission to get my little green friend back from those Imp remnants assholes before the end of the episode because I don't think I can go months until season 2 to find out what happens to him.

I think he's alive. The ground between him and the blurg was smoking, not Kuiil or the blurg. That would imply that a blast hit the ground, closer to the blurg than it's rider and the rider was thrown. Similar to when a horse throws it's rider. More often than not, the rider survives, although usually injured. Also, the blurg has a very heavy body, and would have shielded Kuiil from most of the blast. Just my opinion.

I think he's dead, he seemed to already have an arc off screen with getting his freedom. He died trying to save the baby, a noble end that also sets up the stakes in the show
