Also his relunctness to attack at first makes me think he cares for his family. I expected the doctor to die but now that she is needed for the hero's goal Im not sure. Maybe she still can die with the assistant taking over.

2019-12-13 22:02:27 +0000 UTCI haven't watched their reaction yet, and I haven't watched this in dub, but I can honestly say I wasn't impressed by this scene. First of all, this villain reminds me of Michael Jackson too much so hard to take it seriously. Second of all, this is just your cliche scene where the author is trying to set the villain up as a dark, dangerous badass. That said, people have different opinions. Your experience is valid but please don't think it is the objective, definitive experience and interpretation of that scene.

2019-12-13 20:39:08 +0000 UTCJust to put this out there, I'm pretty sure that the demons in this show are Oni instead of Vampires. Oni in Japanese culture are incredibly strong, often evil demons that gain more strength when they eat people. there is even a famous story about how a monk turned into an Oni and ate a number of travelers, becoming extremely powerful. the only way to kill him was to cut of his head and when that didn't work, I do believe they waited to the sunrise ( I maybe wrong about that part).

This is their choice and we respect that but they will never hear this exceptional voice acting and vocal performance, which makes this scene even more horrifying, epic, intense and makes this character so charismatic. The proof that they were not impressed by this scene is that they didn't speak much about this passage. This guy is the embodiment of evil, and this passage is an illustration of that, it's a shame to miss the original version, that's all. But I repeat, this is their choice and we respect that because we are patreon and we accept to watch this DUB version.

2019-12-13 20:30:48 +0000 UTCLmao, personally my issue is more with all the others. The demon from episode 4 that ate all of Urokodakis students sounded like they were struggling to read their lines from the script. I think the main cast are really good though, the complaints are overblown.
