I think you guys are being too hard on Rosita in accusing her of stringing Eugene along. She has been crystal clear to him for years now that she will never have romantic feelings for him and that all she can offer him is friendship. It's on Eugene if he failed to hear that. It's not a woman's fault if a man doesn't accept what she has repeatedly told him to be her truth. Rosita values his friendship and she reached out to him because she hates that their last conversation ended in an argument.

I voted "Joined as Secret Agent". It seemed quite clear to me that he was calling out the whisperers in that end scene as he wasn't surprised by Beta turning up. I actually think whoever let him out of his cage, gave him this mission as a way to be FULLY redeemed. I think now that Aaron released him.

So now the group that barely talks now has the guy who never shuts up. lol. I swear Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan is the single best casting this show has ever done. I would watch a whole hour of him just walking through the woods talking to himself and killing zombies.

I think he will try and pretend to join them in order to infiltrate them from the inside but ultimately try and kill them to gain the trust of those back home & hopefully they will finally trust him & they can all thrive!

this was my predictions last week (i think the whisperers released negan to join them because he protected alpha's daughter and she is going to reward him by getting his own kingdom. but negan will refuse and try to help Alexandria by tricking the whisperers that he join them and destroying them from the inside. ) I think pretty much nailed it.

Negan has changed. He's a different man now. He put on his whole "Negan" persona in the end to draw them out. He just wants to get to Alpha - for what, though? I'm not quite sure yet. All we know is that he has a soft spot for kids and has taken an interest in Lydia. Maybe he wants to meet her himself so he can see exactly what kind of mother would treat her kid the way Aplha has treated Lydia. Then he'll probably try to kill her.

I think he'll gain alpha and betas trust and make the others (daryl carol etc.) think he has turned evil, and when the oppertunity is right he'll kill them himself. So basicaly a spy for our survivors. I really dont want him to be evil again.
