At this point there simply is so little information, that without having already seen it, any theories would be baseless guessing. Also wouldn´t it be natural to think they gathered so many eyes to sell, rather than keep? And there is little reason to assume, that they were the only ones who took the eyes. There probably had been people who did that before tham, just not in bulk.

Hisoka himself said that the nen personality test isn't reliable, so what's the point to spend so much effort in that ? They spend time arguing about nen categories, but they didn't realize that the chains are Kurapika's hatsu. Kurapika shows up with hatsu and Gon and Killua don't have it. That's interesting, considering that they started learning nen at the same time. About the Troupe, yeah in this episode we only got names, or at least directly. We could see much more. First of all, we can point out that Machi isn't an exception. She isn't the only girl in the gang. There are other female members. That gives you some ideas about the Danchou's feeling about how he thinks the spider should be. You can guess that the boss isn't some sexist douchebag. He's composed, waited without whinging about members coming late and when they got there, everyone was waiting for his command. We got to see that they don't live together/they don't hang around all the time. So that answer the questions about Machi Nen Stiches as a job. We got to see the interactions between the members. They didn't see each other for quite some time. Some seemed more open, others seemed more detached. Feitan showed some defensive attitude towards Danchou (he felt Nobunaga giving Hisoka too much credit was an insult to Chrollo). Franklin too said something interesting. For all we know Hisoka is pretty badass, but Franklin doesn't seem to be impressed by #4. Why ? Finally we got a shot about Danchou. He is young to be the head of a criminal organization and they are around for years now. One can ask himself how it started. Why they do this. We got to see that Kurta scarlet eyes are in the auction, so the Troupe destroyed them, took their eyes just to eventually sell them when they got bored with it. That's pretty brutal. It means they do this for amusement, not for necessity. Chrollo even ordered them to kill everyone. No limits. That should give you some ideas about the gang. I don't know, it just seemed to me that they weren't hyped. We have been hearing about the Troupe for 40 episodes, I expected more hype to actually see them. Maybe it's just because I've seen a lot of reaction about HxH and other seemed more interested. Not saying it wasn't good. I love their channel. I just expected something different for today, but I appreciated the reaction anyway. ☺️

2019-11-02 19:11:12 +0000 UTCWell with what they learned this episode if they spent more time on the Troupe it would be speculating what they can do. The crew is still learning nen and abilities. That is why I think they fall back on personality test because some abilities are frankly hard for a lot of people who are just getting into the series to determine. They did talk about the Troupe in their reaction, which was them trying to figure out if this was the whole group and how they operated. They speculated on how things can go with the group and how they could be beaten in this arc. I think once they see more of them and get a feel for their personalities more that they will have more to discuss.

The personalities are the only thing they have gotten that can help them determine nen type and the abilities they might have. Looking at their past videos they are still trying to figure everything out and all what people can do. With today reaction they are trying to figure out if Neon’s ability is a specialist or manipulator. I think once they learn more about what the abilities can do and how people can mix types to create techniques they will stop relying on personality test and start coming up with their own judgments.

Anime previews only happen when the song is over. You guys can stop it before it gets there if that is what you are worried about lol.

Hope they'll spend more words on them in the next episode. It was the first encounter of all the Troupe members and they spend just two words about it. At least here we are. Finally. I can't wait for THAT moment.
