allow me to be clear beyond your simplification of the issue. I think you can have different opinions on gender and about identity, but I do think you can do it with tact and respect. If you blatantly ignore someones request to by called by a certain pronoun then yes I think you are being rude and by extension an asshole. It is not agree with my views it is "I am observing your actions and saying that is asshole behavior."

They would get mad because it is representative of the real world, this resonates with some people and while I'm not one of them I think it is important to respect people. Sure it is a street but for some people it is a representation of a gender identity and no not the street but "they/them", the street is a completely separate thing. It may be hard to understand if you're coming at it from a straight, white, cis gender perspective and don't have trouble finding representation in media. If you wanna call a street that is nonbinary weird that is fine, it is, but if you're calling people outside the gender norm weird that is another issue and it kinda makes you an asshole.

That's you assuming they are paying attention to that. If they don't use it then they dont use it. Maybe enxt time when its brought up again they might but otherwise *shrug*

I wouldn't go that far. People not associated with proper pronoun use can be slow to adjust and that's okay. Its just if it continues that it would be a willful and I don't think they need to be vindicated by any means but I do think it would be nice if they made an effort to use "they/them" in the future.

Yeah, it's kind of misinformed and willfully ignorant to use "he/him", especially when the show goes through lengths to teach gender pronouns and what it means to be non-binary to Cyborg (aka the audience).

Just so you know people might get mad if you keep using male pronouns for Danny, its not really a big deal when you first meet them, but expect some comments if ya keep saying "he". Loved the reaction! Next episode is really good!

“Who thinks of that? A street, this person is a street.” That would be Grant Morrison. He’s known for doing trippy nonsensical (but really good) stories.
