I think they really dont know what to do with his character. His arc hasn't made any sense so far. Maybe it will be useful in stopping Jonn's Brother or saving Kelly. As they haven't made any link to crises yet in this season so dont think so it will relate to any crises stuff.

I voted for "Crisis", but I wonder if they might use the watch as a way for Team Supergirl to find out Lex is still alive. And then Kara and Lena will be forced to work out their differences for real in order to stop him, ha ha!
