Young Justice 3x17 Reaction Early Access!

Comments

The last few episodes I enjoyed. I don't think its every amazing again but I did enjoy cyborg towards the end. In fact most of the new characters become much more enjoyable for me towards the end.

it doesnt

The voice acting and dialogue for the next few episodes are downright horrible. I dropped the series. When does it get good again?

From what I heard the creators put it in as a nod to the fans for how the show came back, but I think it comes on too strong

About Intergang, we saw them in seasons 1 and 2, they "specialise" in using (or trying to acquire) alien tech for their illegal actions. In seasons 1 and 2 it was Apocoliptian tech : in 1x17, using it for robbing a bank (when Superboy met the Forever people and learned that Sphere was a she) and in 2x04 for creating a monster out of trophies in the Hall of Justice (then the monster was trying to commit suicide by nuclear powerplant and the woman here - and her boss Ugly - were left in a catatonic state by Sportmaster, under Black Beetle's order)

It’s VERY cringey. Like, “How do you do fellow kids?” level of cringe.

Yeah this is when I stopped enjoying the season. Fortunately it gets better again. Not sure why but I hated the whole social media part of the show.

This is when the voice acting and writing goes down hill.

I am pretty the Scooby Doo was intention and tribute to it. Not sure why they did it. It could be since the Outsiders are this universes Teen Titans a teenage superhero team that they decided to be cute by making Scooby references. While the reveal is Justice League planned a false flag operation and put their team in a controlled environment to give them a success to win the public over to the idea and the adults are very much in charge. I didn’t really like the false flag operation idea because I feel if it is exposed by the Light that they can spin it that a lot of good the Justice League does in general is staged and tank people’s trust in all heroes. Given this show’s track record it seems like it all go that way.

I took it that the Justice League is too big to get leeway and people have distrust of them. In season 2 the Reach exposes the JL had a secret space base that the world leaders were ignorant about and that some missing Leaguers went on rampage in space for 16 hours. Lex likely spun that as the Justice League and heroes think they are too big for the law and will do whatever they want and answer to no one and are causing more problems that way. Lex could have even said the Reach came to Earth because of the Justice League’s rampage, which might make people think JL are creating more problems than they are solving. JL likely try to combat by trying to be more transparent and abiding by the laws to win back good faith. If the League members try to do what the Outsiders did it might cause bigger problems for the League as a whole or sadly people think the JL made things worst, much like in the MCU where people started buying into Avengers were making things worst even though all the incidents they stopped would have been worse had they followed the wait until the UN calls deals.

Her nickname is Bigwords.

A 16 year old doing a demonstration has more leeway than an adult. Because you expect kid to be idealistic while you want adult to be more self aware and more mindful of their actions.

Doby Greg

You are correct! The whole episode is a homage to Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated and Troy Baker is playing the role that Patrick Warburton played on the show.

Steven K

That's definitely Velma in that library.

Doby Greg

Also, I don’t think that was Patrick Warburton. Sounded more like Troy Baker doing Patrick Warburton. If you’ve played Tales from the Borderlands then you’ll know what I mean.

This episode is very scooby doo and I love it haha.

cosmotron

Yeah there’s a lot of callbacks to the first season in this season, though I’m not surprised they don’t remember lol. I’ve been enjoying the callbacks though.

cosmotron

Since I don’t think you guys remember, and I can’t blame you, “get on board or get out of the way” is a reference to when they formed Young Justice. That’s why Connor had that look.
