How about a female lead never mentioning she is a woman..I mean we can see it lol .Also the not subtle anger/irritation to heroes that have come before her.But has no problem using all his stuff.Also why never get a woman that looks like she can fight..like "motherrussia" or someone...lol

Not a fan of the it will be perfect when it fits a woman line, they could've added a bit more subtlety. Though its definitely not as bad as I was expecting. I just hope they do Batman justice and actually give him a valid reason for leaving the city he swore to protect

I thought this first episode was interesting enough for me to enjoy it and I’m excited to see more. I think Gotham already feels like a lived in city and fits nicely into the CW universe. I also like all the back story of batman and I’m very intrigued to see if they do anything with him in future episodes. On the other side I’m not 100% sold on the story as of yet and I can’t say I like the villain all that much. Ruby Rose is great though and I’m in for the rest of the season.

I didn't hate the pilot I'm ready to watch this show grow and evolve. I remember I didn't love Supergirl season 1 but it got better, so I have the same hope for this show

I like that the story, so far, is being very respectful towards Bruce Wayne and Batman. More than the trailer made it look like it would be. Kate no longer blames Batman for abandoning her family once she learns the secret because she knew Bruce well enough that he wouldn't do that.

I liked it more than i tought i would from seeing the trailer. I still dont like the "it will be when its fits a woman" line, i would have preferd if she said something along the line of "when it fits me" but the line did not hinder from me likeing the episode. I did however realize from watching the first episode that i really want a batman tv show.

I liked it. I think Ruby Rose's acting leaves a lot to be desired so that may hold the show back. However, I think there is potential for a good show and I love the Batwoman theme!

I am not hooked yet. But to be fair the first episodes of The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow weren't that grwat as well. And I love them now. People also need to remember that critism can't immediately be handled, but probably only after a few episodes

Overall I liked it. It had some of the cliche and on-the-nose writing that I would expect from a pilot episode, but I really enjoyed the feel of the show. I am looking forward to seeing more of Gotham City, and I really love their choice of Alice for our first villain.

Not the greatest Pilot i have ever seen, I liked it but it was just OK to me. City Shots were great, acting here and there not the best, Action was good for most of the parts (loved the Dark Knight falling on a car scene too). I liked the Grapling Hook Effects and Alice was a Stand out to me who has potential. That, as a Villain, is good. Ruby is a great Batwoman but she has to convince me more on her Kate Kane. The rest of the cast was fine with what they were given🤷‍♂️ I already can see a few plotlines.. lets see if that potential can be tapped into. 6/10

I love pilot episodes that get straight to the point on episode 1 so that we can only build up from there. There shouldn't need to be too many more introductions to new characters that we should have to focus on. It was fast and exciting and I can't wait to see more.

Decent premier... Lot of things going on... I feel they are compelled to rush few things to catch up with the crossover stuff.. The fight scenes and some camera cuts were awkward.. Overall interesting plot so far..

I think people forget where Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl all started, and even DC Legends of Tomorrow and Smallville, and Gotham, and literally any other show. First episodes a re definitely tricky, and overall I thought it was well executed despite the backlash. I am interested to see where it leads and how it might improve. I think people went into the show expecting bad outcomes and many already had their opinion of the show before they even watched the first episode. I think the show was poorly advertised, and I hope it does get better along the way.

It’s a meh for me. Most like all shows it needs to grow its story more. Her story about being gay didn’t really get me. It’s mostly the story about her sister being Alice that left me wanting more of the show. But it will never be as good as the Fox show Gotham (please react to it with Eric, Shane, calvin, and Aaron) Follow up: do u think Stanly from arrow will be a villain in this show in the future. Cause they said he was going to Arkham

Do you think Luke could go on to be Nightwing. If they cast Nightwing they need to find an actor that can bring "Jim" and "Juan". Also Nightwing does have a red suit so maybe that will inspire Kate's later look

I Dont Know I Need More Then One Answer. Its just hard for me to get interested in a Gotham series without Gordan, Bat Girl and Alfred. I can take a no Batman but there are other characters.

Reviews mean nothing. Ratings do. Arrowverse shows all rate well. Legends season 1 got horrible reviews. And the IMDb ratings for supergirl season 1 were not good.

I didn't love it and I didn't hate it. It was just kinda fine. I'll probably watch at least the first season to let the show find its footing, and for me to decide whether or not I think it's worth any more of my time.

First episodes are always tricky, since they have to throw in a LOT of exposition and world building. Remember the first episodes of Arrow or Flash? I think the show has lots of potential and I can't wait to see where it goes.

The first episode was really good because I love everything Batman related and we might get Batman in season 2...if it makes it that long, because considering the super bad reviews it got from audiences specially its imdb score it is not looking good, but I have hope, we must save this show!!

Underwhelming and the acting was bottom of the barrel. Ruby Rose was stiff and unconvincing to me, Luke Fox on the other hand was actually pretty emotive in contrast though. So, props where props is due. Alice was a mixed bag in my opinion, not very striking like most Batman villains are (visually and personality wise) when we first meet them, just compare her to the likes of Two-Face, Killer Croc, Panguine, Joker, etc. No where near the same level. And before anyone makes the arguement that A.) This is Batwoman, not Batman therefore you can't compare. [Wrong, same universe and they overlap constantly in the lore so yes I can and will compare.] Or B.) Your being too harsh, it's only the first episode of a TV show [ First impressions are the most important and they needed tp convey that these actors could carrey a show. In my opinion They failed at this spectacularly] I will not continue watching this show from here on out and if you do I do hope ypu genuinely enjoy it. I however did not.

I liked it a lot. Thought it was a really, really good pilot. Ruby Rose owns the role and I'm really intrigued by the Luke Fox and Alice characters. I can't wait to see more and for it to catch up to where we saw her in Elseworlds.

I went in expecting to not like it, but I liked it. In truth it was one of the better CW pilots for me. The trailer made it look a lot worse that it was and riled up a bunch of people for no reason. The trailer made it seem like every 5 seconds you would be beaten over the head with feminism, but it wasn't even remotely close to true. The most over the top was the antagonist but considering all gotham-based antagonists are extra af, I didn't mind it that much. The choreography was a lot better than most pilots offer and I can see it only improving. I will continue to watch it.

I liked it somewhat. It could have been a little better. It has potential. I'll give it some more episodes. There was another show that I was "meh" for the first several episodes, but once episode 5 rolled around, I was hooked and now it is one of my favorite shows of all time. However, with "Batwoman", my main problem is that Kate Kane didn't seem to take any damage even though she got pummeled a lot with big wooden paddles and 2x4 pieces of wood. Alice hit her across the face with that big wooden paddle.... and next scene.... no damage. No busted lip, black eye, bloody/broken nose, missing teeth, nothing. Her face was still pristene. She got hit several other times, and nothing. No bruises, and no cracked or broken bones? Oh yeah, she got cut with a knife. That was about it.

I liked the tone. I love her music for sure. The dialogue was a little rough at times, but a lot of pilots are like that. The choreography was mostly ok for fights. And I think they set up some interesting story lines to work on during this season. I try not to judge pilots too harshly since they are usually low on budget and a bit rushed most of the time. I want too see a few more episodes to see if they can hook me more.

Despite the weird music cues and flashbacks there wasn't a whole lot of setup. The CW crew isn't treating us like idiots who don't know who Batman is and limit the hand holding to a minimum when they could have done that the entire episode, which a lesser show would have.

As a first episode 2 a new hero, it was a lot of fun, more batman lore is always a plus, kate kane was interesting enough to pull me in and ruby rose was amazing and love everything ive seen her in all and all it was a good ride
