Great reaction by Rick. It made him laugh several times throughout which made me happy. I have a very good feeling he very much enjoyed TFA, can't wait for the review. TFA is my fav Star War film closely followed by TLJ & ROTS. Lookin forward to Ricks eventual reaction to it. Amazing work Blind Wave👊🏾👊🏾

Strange edit... the full length shows Rick actually cry literal tears during the Rey and Leia hug, and the YouTube edit cuts it completely. It was the most emotional reaction Rick had the entire movie!

I upgraded to full length for this and I’m so glad I did. I really love this film. I was tearing up watching it then I see Eric and Shane tear up and then I’m tearing up more and then Rick starts tearing up which makes me tear up even more and its just a viscous cycle of tears! Also, Rick smiling at different parts of this movie for the first time was amazing, I’m so so glad he liked it!

I loved this movie... it is too bad it did not carry forward. But we will see with Ep9

Not enough room for him? That's so much bull! For one they meant to kill him and then decided to keep him in the movie. If they both got out the wreckage, The movie would still happen just as it did. Poe would fly the Falcon, Rey would co-pilot and Fin would use the gun. Everything would make more sense if they just made a damn decision and stuck to it.

Great reaction! I think Rey's abilities are pretty easily explained by her upbringing. From her first scene when I originally watched, I remember thinking "oh, she's unconsciously using the force" every time she moved. Something Luke implies to be the case in terms of being a pilot and a good shot in the original. The difference is that Luke was raised in a loving home, and Rey was not. Rey grew up having to survive on her own, and as a result, she relied more on her force abilities as a child than Luke ever had to. It was always clearly in small or subtle ways, but it clearly gave her a big head start - because she had already been using it all her life. So seeing the techniques in action and picking (some stuff up from Kylo) means she adapts to it quickly. IDK, it always made sense to me.

Rick should watch the Hal9000 fan edits of the prequels. I think he would like the prequels more by watching them the same way I did. More streamlined and focused versions with less clunky and unnecessary dialogue and exposition.

Everytime I see this movie it just makes me even more mad about how good this movie was and everything set up then Episode 8 by Rian Johnsons trash self is just trash JJ should have made all 3 movies gosh dang it lol cant wait for episode 9!!

its not about the quality of the movie man, if you don't understand that then you aren't a blindwave FAN. you're just a person who pledges 5+ dollars and because of that thinks whatever they want to win should. If what you wanted to win didn't then say "dang that sucks" but move on and maybe it will win next time.

Shane should read the Phasma book. It does all the major heavy lifting to make her into a really interesting character and goes into her compete backstory. It’s just a shame we never got any of that in the movies. Thought the discuss afterwards was good. Only thing that I think would have been worth mentioning was it being made more clear that the First Order grew out of the remnants of the Empire that fled into the unknown regions. I think it would have answered Rick’s funding question as well if the “Nazis fleeing to Argentina after WWII” analogy had been used. Bloodline goes into this a bit more, and talks about other aspects of their rise, but really hammering the Empire's best and brightest fleeing into hiding does a lot of the heavy lifting. Hopefully The Mandalorian will start touching on this a bit more too.

I'm sorry if the next one may not be as enjoyable. I still really enjoy TFA (and like TLJ for the most part) but with what's coming I'm prepared for disappointment from Rick. Maybe he'll like TLJ too but we won't know until he sees it. I'm still happy that Rick may be able to watch Episode 9 with the crew when it comes out in December.

If I'm lucky, the sequels will turn out for me, like the prequels. I liked, but didn't love the first one. Really didn't like the second one, and really loved the 3rd one. So far, they are 2 for 2. Lets see if RoS can make it 3 for 3.

The Force Awakens won for a number of reasons, but the biggest reason is because more Patrons here are fans of Blind Wave than are looking for a particular reaction. And as fans of Blind Wave and the crew, we want Rick to catch up on the Star Wars movies so he can watch The Rise of Skywalker on opening night with the rest of the crew.
