I'm hoping Promised Neverland can win. I know people are pulling for Demon Slayer, and while I do enjoy it, it honestly doesn't get interesting until episode 19. In my personal opinion, it's a bit over-hyped.

also my take on the whole fate zero vs fate stay night and what you should watch first is while there is some "spoilers" zero is the superior story wise. mainly because stay night is mean't be watched over 3 routes to see the complete story. while zero is complete in the one telling of it and makes it much more beginner friendly.

I hate to be the person to tell a lot of you, but Gurran, as great a show as it is, just is not a good discussion show. Each episode would be: Talk about random stuff, watch episode, "well that was this weeks episode, check out Patreon" and it would be over. And you would have to wait an entire week for a plot that doesnt really move along until the second half. Its a great weekend binge anime, and thats about it.

Pretty sure a lot of choices wont be added. Ways back they had the nominations, then they had the HUGE poll, and from that we have this list that they are knocking off one by one. And the only ones being added would probably be like award winners or #1 spot on Crunchy Roll type shows. Pick Up Girls is a fantastic show, but also Shield Hero was a fantastic show from this year that wasnt on the poll either. Which is sad because that would have been a good discussion show.

Promised Neverland just started and only has 12 episodes right now, Trigun and Berserk will never win because their too old for many voters, Gurren Lagann is the superior anime but would probably lose to Kill la Kill, Fate/Stay Night sucks compared to Fate/Zero and Dragon Prince just sucks. Yall should have a "currently airing/this years" anime slot. Demon Slayer is a perfectly good show but putting the most hyped show of each anime season in the poll against great shows form 3,5 or 10 years ago gives it an unfair advantage and all but guarantees that they are gonna win every time due to the ongoing craze (even if its deserved)

Definetly UBW over fsn, but if not watching fsn then zero before ubw. I found UBW skims over quite a bit of lore and "rules" as it seems to be made asuming the viewer has seen zero. Where as zero spoils some of the reveals from fsn one in the first ep.

I'd have suggested Unlimited Bladeworks as a starting point instead of 2006, but regardless, Zero should be saved for after UBW and the Heaven's Feel movies. Don't trust anybody that says to start with Zero, it's absolutely intended as a prequel after the fact, and full of spoilers for the other material.

Just so there's no confusion, and it's incredibly easy to get confused about the fate franchise's watch order, you'll find most fans would prefer that you watch fate/zero, followed by UBW, and avoid 06 altogether, as it spoils both other series. While people (like myself) are voting for it, I would suggest, should it win, throwing the fate fans a bone, and putting up a second poll with suggested watch order

I ask because I doubt they'll react to the amazing subbed version because, well, Blind Wave ('Merica!), so I'm wary of them reacting to an inferior dubbing and watering down the experience (like Attack on Titan's dub). Having seen most of the Fate franchise, I would definitely not recommend the original 2006 Fate/Stay Night by Studio Deen. It's a very subpar adaptation that tries to incorporate aspects of different routes and does almost none of it right. Would it be possible to swap it out for Fate/Zero or Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works next time? Both are done by Ufotable. And the way Ufotable structured their adaptations of the Fate franchise, it would be Fate/Zero first followed by Unlimited Blade Works. The 2006 Fate/Stay Night is absolutely not a prerequisite for going into either of those 2 series. The 2006 series will probably turn you guys off of the franchise forever.

Hey Guys, I am a massive fate fan and, in my opinion don't think you should watch Fate/Stay Night (2006) as your first Fate series. Fate / Stay Night (2006) is generally considered a bad series among the fandom. The best place to start with fate is Fate / Zero (2011). Then, after that is Fate / Stay night Unlimited blade works (2014) . These 2 series are amazing and I feel you would be doing yourselves a disservice if you watched the 2006 series as it is a poor adaptation. Keep up the good work guys!!

This poll alone assured I'm gonna stay a patron for a while lol Seriously, you have My Favorite Anime of All Time - Steins;gate My Favorite Off-The-Walls Action series - Kill la Kill TWO of my favorite Sci-Fi anime - Parasyte/Trigun and THEN there's Beserk, Promised Neverland, and F/SN!! Damn, what a list. I'm heavily gunning for Steins;gate, though. You guys will absolutely have a blast with it.
