Another note, this is where they started to nail Christopher Lee's one-handed fighting style for Dooku, and it's just so good.

Recently is was released an Audio Drama about Dooku's early life. It's very good, and we also learn a lot more about Ventress in there. They expand a lot on her master, Ky Narec.

Master Di was actually a Nikto (which do look similar to Weequay). Master Sora Bulq was a Jedi Weequay though.

I mean there really wasn´t much to talk about yet.
And it kinda seemed to me like Eric intentionaly steered away from that to avoid accidental spoilers. (Shane kinda looked way too excited and he tends to say a bit too much when he gets that way.)

Correct, but aside from Sugi, there are other subspecies of Zabraks and inter-species hybrids, specifically on Dathomir which presumably explains the contradicting appearances.

As one note, we have seen a female Zabrak once before; Sugi, the leader of the bounty hunters that were protecting the villagers on Felucia.

I thought the reason she wasn't fighting well was because she was injured. If you watch her getting out of the ship you can see her holding her side. This could be why she mostly uses only one arm
