Why is it more comfortable to stand on one leg and not the other?

This is just my observations and theories from many years of treating patients. The android pelvis tends to be more capable of providing balance to the lumbar spine when weight is applied evenly to both legs. It is narrower and taller than the gynaecoid pelvis which is wider and more oval in shape. My female patients tend to complain therefore of not feeling stable when standing upright on both legs and resort to placing weight unevenly on one-leg to feel more stabilized. This leads to an imbalance of the lower back and pain because we will feel more comfortable initially on one leg. Over the years (we are talking about 10 or more years), this creates a nearly irreversible lumbar curvature in the spine.

Why is it more comfortable to stand on one leg and not the other? Why is it more comfortable to stand on one leg and not the other?
