I am cooking for myself this Mother’s Day

I can’t eat out anymore. I’m not sure what is happening with our foods here in the USA, but it isn’t just me…have you seen all the gluten free foods in the isles lately? Where did all this sensitivity come from? I don’t remember any of this until maybe 12 years ago. Patients come to me half scared to death something is wrong with them when their PCPs have said they can’t find anything (after thousands of dollars spent on scans, tests, biopsies etc.) I have to be careful what oils, grains, etc. I put into my body. I am trying to get rid of the Polyunsaturated fats or PUFAS as they are affectionately called 😂 I’m not as sensitive as most folks but I could quickly become just that! When I broke out in a severe rash in January, I had to rethink EVERYTHING The skin is the “trash can” of the body.

We cut out all bio-engineered foods, seed oils and buy our meat from a local farmer that doesn't have his meat processed with chemicals like the big name companies. We also try to buy all organic / non-gmo food items. We haven't been out to eat in months and have no plans to ever again. I make as much as I can from scratch so I know whats going in each recipe.
