This whole episode the only thing I could think of was Captain Flint screaming "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU THINK WAS GONNA HAPPEN!!" to every character, villain and "hero".

I don't blame Rick too much cause this episode was a pretty big mess.

Love Rick and his point is valid. Being a 'good' hero to their world vs being a good 'hero' for our viewing pleasure are real semantics. Just like a 'good' villain means an interesting bad guy to us viewers, but a good villain in their world is simply one who defeats our 'heros'.

This episode would be interesting only if we ever saw the bright happy Robin ever. To see how far he's fallen. As it stands it's just another chapter in the Brooding moping Dick saga and it loses a lot of the impact it wants to have.

I think they fixated way to much on the killing thing, he may not have killed anyone, i mean there are a lot of brutally maimed people but even real life people have survided been shot in the face.

Dang, Rick was really pessimistic this reaction. The “KiLlIng iS bAD” thing was distracting him from some pretty important character moments and themes. Clearly missed the point of half the things that happened this episode.
Also, there’s much more brutal fights in other shows that people survive, so that criticism Rick had didn’t land with me. If they’re shown to be alive, he didn’t murder them. Just move on

The point of this arc and story at this point is that robins in a dark place and looking for a way out the bat man doesnt kill cliche is deturring from the fact that robin has clearly been killing this show and hes aware of that
