Agents of Shield 6x10 Poll!

Should we tell Aaron the news about Agents of Shield's future schedule or keep him spoiler-free?

Comments

This poll is so neck and neck and I can understand why

Jamie Smith

THE TRUTH WILL SET U FREE.....unless u don't want to know......SO MAYBE TELL HIM!!!!!!!

Kaleb A. Diaz

If he doesn’t want to be told, then don’t tell him. The poor guy has been bullied enough (needle scenes, calvin spoon, yummie dick jokes)... now that I think about it, he has the worst dad jokes and never admits ithat he’s wrong so f* him, tell him.

Longway

I say tell him. I don't think it's a spoiler and don't think it will ruin anything. It might make you appreciate season 7 even more. Also, you guys already know Arrow is in its last season and are okay with knowing that so why not Shield.

The reason I said tell him, because the poor bruising Calvin receives every time Aaron sees a needle. Lol

Khaleesi Mandy

Does he not have a shield truck someone on the street will eventually yell it out to him or bring it up because of his truck ..just tell him lol

CATHY GARCIA

i reckon don't. it'll be entertaining if he goes in oblivious tbf and finds out at the end, if you guys expect him to be cool with it then i don't see why not

Stefanniko

TELL

Conroy

He could end up spending the rest of this half season trying to guess how things relate to the ending rather than enjoy s6 by itself. They could tell him before 7 tho.

Doby Greg

This is pretty ridiculous. He knows Arrow is in its last season, how is this different? How does it detract from the show at all by knowing it’s the last time you’ll be seeing these characters? You guys really shouldn’t be enabling this kind of behaviour, lmao

Able

We all kind know his reaction would be... "dang it! now I know :( what you tell me with Aaron snark"

Edwin B

In addition, this is the first time I’ve seen you guys consider this sort of thing a spoiler. There’s been plenty of other shows, even at least one current one, where this information has just been mentioned freely without further thought. I think by calling it a spoiler and doing this poll it might have caused a bit of a panic amongst people who consider it common knowledge and thus assume you must be talking about something else. To anyone reading this who is freaking out about having to avoid watching future reactions to avoid spoilers, I would say don’t worry about it. I guarantee you it’s highly likely you already know what it is, but even if somehow you didn’t, it’s something that will make you go “oh, that’s all they were talking about?” It’s not about plot, characters, or anything within the show. It’s just news really.

Dylan Carpenter

Yeah, this seems kind of ridiculous. He should definitely know. He'll probably find out anyway through general world talk, since it's a public piece of news and not a plot spoiler. Someone will probably bring it up at Wavecon anyway.

Teek

If he doesn't want to know, don't tell him. But otherwise I would, cause finding out it's the final episode on the day, doesn't sound good to me.

Ethan Prendergast

Don't tell him, keep it spoiler-free. I don't know it myself and I would hate to avoid your SHIELD-reactions because of it

Flashback007

Either tell him after the last episode of this season or not at all

Joel

It depends on your preference. For me seeing promos for the next episode or knowing episode titles do not ruin episodes for me. I know you guys can have your own viewing experience ruined by a spoiler like Hulk saving Iron Man in trailer. If Aaron knowing AoS is going to ruin the rest of the season for him don’t tell him. Personally I do not think it will ruin the experience. Agents has been good at crafting the story it wants to tell and for the most part executes it in unique and fun ways that make knowing one or two things hard to spoil the whole thing.

Jjop017

Should they tell Aaron that season 7 of SHIELD is the last season, or should they let him watch it without knowing it's going to end.

alvick123

im confused. what is it that were debating whether to tell him or not? can anyone clarify?

Jhazzrun

It almost seems silly not to; I think knowing it's the final season is important so he can appreciate the swansong of the show and know that this is the end

IrishNexus

I think he should know at least before the next season starts. Maybe tell him during the post-discussion of the upcoming season finale.

DON'T tell him. If you tell him, you'll end up telling me too. I don't know and I don't want to know. Don't spoil it for me. Don't spoil it for Aaron.

k9commander

A MelRon was in a similar situation and he waited after the ended to tell Melanie. I think you should do the same for him and wait the end of the season.

Doby Greg

Please don't tell him, I didn't watch trailer and don't want to know and be spoiled too. So if you do tell, give us spoiler warning so people who don't want to know can forward.

Scott O

He need to find out before the end of season 7

I’m usually anti-spoiler, but I’ve never really felt things like this were spoilers since it’s not story related. Personally I don’t see any benefit to keeping it a secret, he’s bound to find out by the time we get a trailer for next season anyway so I say bring him up to speed. SIDENOTE (just to you Eric, not for reading in the video): I see there’s a few people worried about getting spoiled about something if “tell him” wins. Maybe first mention that the spoiler isn’t about the story or the characters, or about this season even. Might make some people less worried about it than they would be if they knew what it was about.

Dylan Carpenter

I also vote for come up with some elaborate lie that’s not even close to true.

Andrew Courtney

He's going to find out eventually, especially now that the internet knows he doesn't yet. I'd prefer to get the immediate reaction of finding out on camera.

Spacer Mcspacer

C'mon guys.. I know how spoilerfree you guys are but with the emotional impact of the very last episode - HE NEEDS TO KNOW - HE NEEDS TO FEEL IT! 100%

He needs to know. I don’t think a confused reaction of the last episode of season 7 being the end of the series is really that interesting or fun. Takes the emotional weight out of it. Plus he’ll probably hear about it by then anyway.

Kanan Jarrus

This is the correct choice

Ryan

I vote for "tell him made up stuff."

The Amish Electrician

I’m pretty sure if you watch any trailers at all for season 7 he’d find out. It’ll be difficult to keep that a secret.

Either one really. Wouldn't be a big deal to tell him or to not. He will most likely hear about it tho. Agents of SHIELD probably wont keep it a secret

MOB12

Yeah u should tell him it'll make QnA's and doing polls and reading poll comments harder also I feel like you'll miss out on some interesting discussion
