2019-07-13 15:56:54 +0000 UTCIs anyone else finding this season over the top and cheesy? I love the new monster, I love the concept, and I absolutely love everything with Billy in it. That said, the way that Hopper has been acting is way too over the top. I feel like we're missing the calm, badass, measured, Hopper that we've seen the last 2 seasons. I have been enjoying everything with El and Max, but the Will thing is really odd. Did they always play D&D in costumes? Why was he dressed as a Wizard? I don't know. I really really REALLY want to be engaged and loving this season, but the cheesy-ness is killing me.

It seems his conversation with Mike included that if he told El that he was "threatened" by Hopper to spend some time away from her, that they wouldn't be allowed to see each other any more ever. Also Lucas is obsessing about girls and ignoring the D&D just as much as Mike is at this point. I do feel bad for Will though.
