Demon Coulson: literally. The actual body is in fact Coulson: with a catch. Its the corporeal form of a demon god using Coulsons body as a host (similar to robbie and ghost rider) this is the last part of the deal he made with the devil- something that made Robbie say to Coulson 'I dont envy you' (perhaps inspired by the story of baal hadad in the comics)

A chronicom wearing Coulson's skin from after he died? Honestly I have no idea, but I'm excited to see where they go with it!

A few theories: 1) An alien who becomes who they eat minus all that person's memories. 2) Before TAHITI, Fury first tried to clone Coulson. But the clone was stolen along with the cloning tech before he could imprint the clone with all of Coulson's memories. 3) Multiple personality Shapeshifter who encountered Coulson at some point. One of the other persons the Shapeshifter will become will be that of the creator of the zombie bat creatures. 4) Right before we're about to find out, the framework ends and we realize that everything after season 5 was part of someone's simulation.

My theory is that Sarge is actually Coulson, but from the timeline where the team saved his life and the earth was quaked apart. Maybe the serum that saved his life caused amnesia, and he wound up traveling the multiverse as Sarge.

I think Sarge is an alternate earth version of Coulson, but on his earth he was born around 100 years earlier than ours. Not sure if he lives so long because of something about his original earth or something else.

Slowly he began to take out his clothes in front of the mirror to reveal his tattoo on his side. He just got it...himself fighting alongside with Cap as his buddy...Sarge. “Another life maybe” Coulson sighs “What if it could be?” A mysterious voice says. Coulson whirls around with his half naked body to come face with Captain America dressed in his time travel suit accompanied with Doctor Strange. “We have a job for you...”

Obviously he is part of a newer shield project that no one in shield knows about called Project Gemini. So the cloned Coulson and turned him into a leader for their space division no one knows about called Sword. What if we never find out his origin?
