That would be nice, but I wouldn't want them to suffer from the bad English dub

That look of realization on Skarsgard's face when he realizes there's suddenly a fast approaching cap on his life is so damn good. Top notch acting all around.

From what I understand the ultimate death toll of Chernobyl was estimated to be somewhere in the range of 4,000 - 90,000.

FYI none of those 3 men that went inside died from radiation. In 2006 one of them died from a heart attack, the 2 others are still alive today.

dying from radiation is a horrible, painful way to die, that sacrifice is more then just your life

The helicopter crashed because the blades clipped a metal wire from the crane. It got too close and couldn't see it because of the smoke

So the Helicopter didnt just stop working because of the radiation. It crashed and fell because it clipped the crane wire. The pilot just couldnt see what was going on, and instruments started to fail as well.

Just so y'all know the firefighter's clothes are still in the basement of that hospital (and still radioactive as hell). The guy from the Veritasium channel was there a few years back: https://youtu.be/TRL7o2kPqw0?t=470

definitely not a documentary. there are a lot of inaccuracies, things they didnt touch on, and things they just changed for narrative purposes. This mini series is great because of the caliber of storytelling involved. But, that being said, you cant take everything at face value.

The guy (Anatoly A. Sitnikov) went up onto the roof and looked down into the reactor actually survived 30 days. However, 3 weeks of that was outright torture imo.
